Introduction/Info on Naga

Among the high-sworn of the Slithereen Guard there is a solemn vow oft repeated before battle: No Slithereen may fail. In truth, these words are equal parts oath and enforceable covenant, for those who fall short of their duty are banished from the order. To fail is to be other than Slithereen.

Once most highly esteemed of her race, Slithice for many years commanded a battalion of her fellows, using her formidable voice as her greatest weapon. Powerful, sinuous, serpentine, she led her deadly Guard in defense of the Deep Ones, and the great wealth of the sunken cities. But in the final battle of Crey, her forces were driven back by a marauding army of levianths intent on finding tribute for their god Maelrawn. After the long and bloody onslaught, as the bodies were cleared from the sunken halls, a single jeweled chalice was found missing from the trove. Of her hundred Guard, only a handful survived, but their bravery and sacrifice were of little consequence. What mattered was that treasure was taken. Honor destroyed. And so Naga Siren was cast out. Banished to search for the stolen chalice. Though she might add a hundred times her weight to the golden trove, she is doomed to live apart until that day she returns that which was taken. For no amount of gold is equal in honor to the honor she lost.

Naga Siren is a Agility hero that can disable, carry, push, and escape. Shes very item dependent when it comes to staying alive and having a high attack later in the game. All of her ability's can help out the team and she can quickly gank opponents while she's with 2 or more comrades. The downfall of Naga is that shes extremely squishy in the beginning of the game, and do a face-palm for me if you are against Axe or any hero that can do damage to all nearby enemy's at once, because your illusions will "poof" away giving your position away. She also doesn't really do well in a lane with a ranged attacker. Naga is superb at catching retreating hero's due to her speed being 320, plus any ad-dons you can get with boots of speed, etc.

Skills and Tips on Nagas Abilitys

Mirror Image:

Creates three images of Naga Siren under her control.

This ability I would say is very useful. It works wonders with her other 2 ability's (Ensnare, and Rip Tide). Though it is used to confuse enemy hero's, I believe this is the key part in taking down an opponent. While used with ensnare you can gang up on the trapped hero and deal more damage than you would without your illusions. It also gives you the chance to not even take damage as the enemy hero may attack an illusion instead.

Ensnare:

Interrupts the target and traps them in place, preventing movement or blinking.

Though it does immobile a enemy for a certain time, that hero caught in it can still cast spells indefinitely.Ensnare is a very useful ability that can trap escaping enemy's or keep them trapped there as your illusions attack him. Its extremely useful against annoying hero's such as Riki, Bounty Hunter, Templar Assassin, and other stealthy hero's.

Rip Tide

The Naga Siren and her images hit all nearby units with a damaging wave of water that lowers armor.

Rip Tide is really good against strong durable hero's that have a lot of armor. I suggest you use it when you and your team are doing a group battle against the opposing team, not only can you use it, but your images can as-well. You can send out one of your illusions to either lure him and then using riptide to lower his armor, or you can deal the final blow with it as it does damage.

Song of the Siren

All enemies in range of the Naga Siren are put into a magical stasis where they cannot act or be attacked. Using Song of the Siren again will end the duration early.

Though this Ultimate is quite useful in helping your team escape or surrounding retreating opponents. It can mess up your team-members Ultimate or ability's. Make sure to use it only when its necessary to do so.

Runes

Illusion: the more the merrier. Bottle it or Pick up.

Double Damage: very useful in the beginning of the game. Bottle it or Pick up.

Invisibility: good in the beginning of the game for ganking. But mainly don't use this later in the game, unless you want to gank.

Regeneration: use it if you are low on health and mana, though its up to you to use it or not on the current situation you're in.

Haste: mainly...don't use it, you're already fast as it is.

confused on the items?

Note all the early/mid items help make the core items needed (exept for Magic Wand). Make sure to click on the core items such as Dissusal blade, etc to make sure what you're making.

Think somethings missing for Naga?

This is my first Guide, for any hero. If you think Naga's item build/skill build is flawed feel free to tell me. I'm still pondering on what better items are for Naga so I may change the item build or my skill build. I hope I've provided enough information to make you successful in your games to come for Naga Siren. I may add what Heros go well with Naga and other useful information. We will see (mainly because I'm too lazy)

Also, another item build (possibly better) will be coming out.....eventually....
