Introduction

Hello guys, this is my first guide, so feel free to give any tips.
This is a strangely restrictive guide, for such a versatile hero, but this is focused on dealing massive amounts of burst damage early-mid game, instead of DPS.
I'll edit this over time to adapt to my skill.

Early game.

Early game you want to take mid, to farm as much as possible,to get a level advantage over your opponent, and gold advantage as well, deny the creeps if you can.
Remember to get Wex at level 6, so you can Ghost Walk if you get ganked.
Keep Cold Snap (QQQ) ready,so if your opponent advances, the creeps will keep stunning him.
REMEMBER, do not use cold snap if the creeps aren't going to attack, only if you're sure you can kill him.
For boots, Phase is the way to go to help with autoattacks and positioning, mana won't be a problem since you're not going to cast that much, and health problems are negligible because of Quas, but only if you aren't disabled.
You need to get your Eul ASAP for this build to work.

Worth Mentioning: Ghost Walk

So you got ganked eh.
Ghost Walk(QQW)will help you 90% of the time if you're ganked.
But, it's not the most reliable invis, besides slowing you, it gives you a slowing aura that lets your enemies know where you are, so be careful while using it against AOE heroes.

The Combo.

So you got your Eul.
Eul is what lets you kill easily.
This is the well-known combo that is used before Aghanim, for killing.
Keep Sun Strike(EEE) and Chaos Meteor (EEW) ready.
Eul your opponent, wait roughly one second and throw Sun Strike and Chaos Meteor in that order.
(make sure sun strike will hit only him.)
Then, you invoke Deafening Blast (QWER) right after using the spells(the blast should follow the meteor closely, so watch your timing).
If the three spells hit, it's almost a guaranteed kill if your opponent has 1000 health or less(at this stage he probably will have less than 1000 health, and close to no magic resistance).
This combo might seem easy, but the timing is crucial, practice with bots before you try it in pubs.

But what about Wex?
Wex on "The Combo" doesn't play a huge part, only Exort and Quas mostly.
THE COMBO DURING MID GAME, IMPORTANT
During teamfights, if there are teamfighters like Enigma, Tidehunter, Seer, Naga, and so on, try to set up some nice kills on Enigma's Black Hole and other ultis with Chaos Meteor and Sun Strike(won't deal a ton of damage, but it will steal deal damage, so use it) BUT, don't disrupt the oponents with Deafening Blast, only when the ulti ends, else you'll save enemies.
If you need to pick off the carry or a support with the combo, use Forged Spirits and Alacrity and Cold Snap instead, Tornado and EMP should be used as a last resort.

Extra Chapter:Eul and Chasing.

There you are, your team won a teamfight, BUT WAIT, a QoP is running away with 300 health, and she is blinking everywhere, you can't land a Sun Strike.
Eul is the best way to kill a hero with an escape mechanism.
Just use it against a fleeing target below 475.5 HP (Assuming Exort is maxed) and Sun Strike just a bit ahead of that person, so if he/she takes a step, Sun Strike will still hit.

Aghanim.

Okay, so here's when stuff starts to get complicated, teamfights will start bursting everywhere.
Only use the combo above if you're sure there's not going to be a teamfight.
In teamfights, use Chaos Meteor and Deafening Blast, and try to use Forged Spirits (QQE) and Alacrity (WWE) as much as possible.
If someone else is dealing more auto-attack damage than you, Alacrity him instead.

Worth Mentioning: Alacrity

"Without a high level Wex, Alacrity+Cold Snap won't help you a lot right?"
Well, you're right, it's not as good as if you had more levels on Wex.
But you're going to hit hard, so it's a viable choice while Chaos Meteor is on cooldown.

Teamfights.

Invoker is an initiator, in this build, he'll initiate after getting Aghanim, and after lv 17.
Start with Tornado (QWW) , Chaos Meteor and Deafening Blast, then proceed to auto-attacking with Forged Spirits, Alacrity and Cold Snap, you want to kill runners with Eul and Sun Strike.
EMP won't deal damage at all, considering you didn't level up Wex that much, and you can use Ice Wall to keep people in their tracks.
Ghost Walk should be used for escaping.

Explaining the Late Game items.

What to get and when.
Well, Right after you get your Aghanim, you should farm a Mystic Staff.
Then, you should decide whether you want Shiva, or Scythe of Vyse.
If you need more durability, go for Shiva,
If there's an enemy carry that is dealing crazy damage to your team, go for Vyse instead.
Orchid Malevolence will help you with casters.
Linken is good for more durability, but you might want to get Refresher instead, i'll explain why in the next chapter.

OMGWTFBBQ Refresher on Invoker!?

Yes, in teamfights, if you're at such a later stage in the game (around 50~70 mins) you should consider getting a refresher.
If you have fast hands, using all your spells and items won't be so uncommon, and without spells, with this particular build, you're not going to dish out that much damage.
Refresher is only a viable choice if the enemy team is equal in power though.
Also,i think Invoker's Raging Fury is a better explanation than anything i could write about Refresher Orb on invoker.:

Thanks for Reading!
