I know a lot of people like to play Morphling as a carry, but you could make the case that he is just as strong as a support. Now I am here to tell you, you are not going to do the most damage on the field because you be all strength, but you will be able to stun heroes, and lock heroes down for a long time, even take some heroes out of the fight. So if you like to stun heroes forever while you team walks away, then Morphling support is for you.
This is my first time making a guide. I have played Dota 2 for a while now, but I am new to making guides for others, so any constructive feedback would be helpful.
Thanks,
The Coach
Okay so lets start with items, for this build to work, you are going to be the core support, so to start the game you want to start with 1 set of tangos, 2 Clarity's, 2 Iron Branches, courier, and one ward. You then will need to upgrade the courier if not done already by a teammate has not done it already, then I would pick up a magic wand, then you can pick up your Arcane Boots, and start picking up your team-fight items like: Aether Lens, Rod of Atos , and if the game goes late you can pick up items like: Dragon lance, Scythe of Vyse, Lotus Orb or Shiva's Guard, or things like that.
It is very simple to pull off support Morphling, just Morph Strength, and max you stun first. your Waveform is for damage in team-fights and to Escape if you are in trouble, but your main focus is to lock people down and keep them out of the fight.
As for the Tree talents is is my go to for Morph support:
Level 10- +200 Mana (You are going to need it to pull off support Morph)
Level 15- 12% Cooldown Reduction
Level 20- +256 Movement Speed
Level 25- +400 Waveform Range
Now you a support, so in the game you should help buy and place the Wards on the map to give your team vision, and because you have such good lockdown for heroes you should always carry a TP on you to respond to ganks.
Your focus in Teamfights is any hero with a big ult, or anyone who is causing you team issues, and the great thing is with the pick up of the Aether Lens this means that you can say safe behind your carries and be able to stun people form a far.
So this is my guide, my keys for Morph support is to do the Following: Morph Strength, Stay safe and have fun locking people down. Morph support has been something that I have been working on myself because I like the Hero, but I think that I have made a guide that everyone can fallow. If their is info missing that you feel IO should add please let me
know. Good Luck and Have Fun out their.
