Magina can be played in one of two ways. In the first, you are a ganker. You use mana break to deal solid damage early on and blink to make the most out of an allied disable or slow. Later on you get basher to aid your ganking. The other way to play AM is to abuse blink to speed-farm the jungle and become a late-game DPS carry. In this case, you go for a battlefury as fast as you can and then farm the jungle. You can get to the point where you clear an entire jungle and a set of ancients every minute. For this build, it might be beneficial to skip mana break for some stats early on.
Don't be tricked by the Anti-Mage's hero title. Mana break is much better against STR and AGI heroes with mana pool issues then it is against INT mages.
