Introduction

Hi I'm kRaYziE and I've played terrorblade a lot in dota 1 and a few games in dota 2.
My rating is around 4000 in ranked.
I just though I'd share my build I have had success with in the public and ranked matches I have played.
This is my first guide and still imcomplete. I will keep adding to it and taking in any feedback.

Hero Description

Terrorblade is a melee Agility Carry with a focus on a limited but powerful amount of illusions. As with any illusion based hero, he requires stats-based items to make his illusions as strong as possible. His unique ultimate allows him to swap his health bar with another hero making ganks on him dangerous without extended lockdown to keep him from casting it. He can create long duration illusions of himself that deal a significant amount of his own base damage and a powerful slow that creates an unattackable illusion of target enemy hero that deals a significant amount of their base damage. His third ability is a potent long duration transformation spell that makes him a powerful ranged damage dealer. He has low starting health but high starting armor making him particularly vulnerable to early game spell damage.

Lore

Terrorblade is the demon marauder--an outlaw hellion whom even other demons fear. A cosmic iconoclast, he stole from the Demon Lords, ignored the codified rites that should have bound his behavior, and broke every law of the seven Infernal Regions. For his crimes, he was taught this lesson: even Hell has a hell. A short, brutal trial ensued, with many dead on all sides, and he was finally incarcerated in Foulfell, a hidden dimension where demonkind imprison their own.
But Foulfell is no normal prison. In this dark mirror of reality, demons are sentenced to gaze eternally into the twisted reflection of their own souls. But instead of suffering, Terrorblade made himself master of his own reflected worst self--a raging, thieving demon of unimaginable power. With his inner beast under sway, he destroyed the fractal prison walls and burst free to turn his terror loose upon all creation.

Cooldown 22/18/14/10 Mana 50

Notes:
Reflection illusions are uncontrollable.
Reflections can only attack their Target.
Reflections can carry auras.


Conjure ImageWE
Ability Affects
No Target Self
Creates an image of Terrorblade under his control. The illusion deals a percentage of his damage and takes amplified damage from all sources.
Illusion damage dealt: 30/40/50/60%
Illusion damage taken: 300%
Duration: 32
Cooldown 16 Mana 80

Notes:
The cooldown is shorter than the duration, so Terrorblade is able to conjure multiple illusions at a time.
If Metamorphosis is active then the illusions will also be in ranged form.

Transforms Terrorblade into a powerful Demon with a ranged attack.
Bonus Damage: 20/40/60/80
Attack Range: 550
Base Attack Time: 1.6
Duration: 40/44/48/52

Notes:
Bonus damage is added to the hero's base damage, consequently illusions benefit from it.

Target Unit Heroes HP Removal
Sunder mini-stuns and severs the soul from both Terrorblade and a target hero, then exchanges them, carrying part of the units' life forces. The percentage HP of each unit are switched with the souls. Some of Terrorblade's HP must remain.
Range: 250
Minimum Health: 25/20/15%
Cooldown 120/80/40 Mana 200/100/0
You didn't need that life, did you? The demon marauder steals that which you hold most dear.

Items

PMS and wand and very cheap and handy. Aquila solves any mana issues.
I found maelstrom to greatly increase my income and jungling speed. I know it doesnt buff the images but it pays itself off very quickly.
Followed by yasha then boots of travel, you are able to split push and farm at a very rapid pace. You also run at crazy speeds to are quite difficult to pin down and kill.
Manta makes you a monster. Meta/manta/image = army thats destroys buildings and enemies
After that I normally build a scardi and the game tends to be over.

Skills

Level the skills according to the enemies in lane. If you think yoou can first blood with your patner, reflection or meta are strong choices. If you want to pull waves with images, then go with that.
Early game I don't get more than 1 of reflection. I level meta to max at 7.

Team Work

early game you are able to secure kills with reflection meta if you have a team mate nearby.
your main focus should be farming.
mid game feel free to help the team when meta is off cooldoown and your team are pushing or defending. You can stay at range and dps at relative safety with meta. once you have BOT and yasha you can split push. Ask you support for an agressive ward in the enemy jungle so you dont get jumped. Try to take as many towers as possible as the gold is benifical to the team.
