Good point about the Press the Attack.

I'd say that blademaill is kind of a late game item, since you would be collecting duels

from supports in early game, the semi carries are no match for you due to Duel and your high

damage.I say late game because this is the time that the hard carries can rape you sometimes

so just activate Blade Mail then duel. This is not always the case tough because you would

be owning alot if you played properly. A Blade Mail can also be picked up when you are losing

the enemies are way stronger than you, it can give a huge advantage.

I pick up a Black King Bar in case I get raped by those heavy spell casters but mostly

you have your team to back you up so :D.

Mostly in late game when I pick up an Orchid Malevolence (which I rarely do) I just orchid

support then duel the carry (since im already strong). In most situations I prefer getting an

Assault Cuirass first because of the extra armour and the armour reduction it gives

which is sometimes better if your against these tanky heroes like Axe.

Good point tough but an Armlet of Mordiggian is alot better than Blade Mail.

Buying a Blade Mail kinda delays your Assault Cuirass but sometimes

its more worth.

I don't really take points in Overwhelming Odds in the early stage. I max out Press the Attack and Moment of Courage. Legion Commander's core should be Power Treads, Blink Dagger, Blade Mail. I would not say that Blade Mail and Black King Bar are situational items. Blade Mail is a core item on Legion Commander. The point is to make kills early on so that later you can buy Desolator, Abyssal Blade, Assault Cuirass, Heart of Tarrasque. Power Treads, Armlet of Mordiggian and Heaven's Halberd is an an old Garen build so it's not effective. Though Heaven's Halberd can be purchased as a situational items.

A little thing about the boots choices: Power treads are usually picked up not because of the 8 damage you won't even feel later in the game, but because of the 30 attack speed it gives you, as your bonus damage from duels will scale much better...

Are we talking about only the first point?
Or the first few points?
Yes Press the Attack is good but I simply dont add it in level 1
because you wont get damaged once in level 1 but good point :)

*Edit
I get Overwhelming Odds so if somebody harrasses me I can just hit them with Overwhelming Odds.
This will make the, think twice before harrassing me :)

I use my tangoes and salves early on and save mana for Duel
because Most of the time they will just waste space.

i don't like the first point in overwhelming odds.
I agree with the fact that it may help in harassing/cancelling pots.. but it just isn'worth investing the first point in.

In my opinion, the first point must always be in either Press the Attack or Moment of Courage simply because of the beast survivability that these spells give.
