You do want to not buy the courier, since $$ for courier=slower Bottle... However, someone's gotta do it, so make sure one of the supports do. Also, overload does get you more, early game, then remnant(at least in my pitiful experience).

Your build 1 isn't very good. You get higher DPS by maxing Overload before Remnant, and 3 levels in Vortex is all you really need. Also why buy the courier as a solo mid?
