You and Your Necrophos

So... You picked necrophos. why? who cares, lets steal some kills
Necrophos is a ranged intelligence hero able to withstand pretty high amounts of damage late game. This guide will support you in creating a durable necrophos.

Lets look at your abilities:

Death Pulse: Your heal and main source of durability and damage in team fights and laning. During the early game try to only use this ability when you are low on the old HP or to support your laning buddy. During the late game and team fights and ganks are starting to become more common make sure you keep this ability going to keep both you and your teammates alive.

Heartstopper Aura: Your bread and butter this is your main source of DOT (Damage over time) during the team fights and why you need to be so durable. Heartstopper aura deals a percentage of the opponents max health and can be a deadly early game aura. Keeping yourself alive during team fights will cause this ability to help the team out massively. Early game this ability can help you dive towers for the heroes trying to run away, and with your next ability you will see why.

Sadist: Your main source of survivability this ability will keep you alive when trying to tower dive heroes to kill them with your aura. When you get a kill this passive automaticaly puts a stack onto you. each stack increases your mana and health regeneration for a limited ammount of time, whenever you get another kill the buff gets another stack and refreshes the last increasing your mana and health regen even more. The great thing about this ability is when a hero is killed by YOU the buff becomes a stack of 10 increasing your health and mana regen by a butt ton allowing you to survive the dive you took behind the tower. only 1 point is needed in this for the early game.

Reapers Scythe: Necrophos's Ulti and the main source of killstealing, But most of the time this is allowed due to it being able to keep you alive longer for heartstopper and death pulse to keep the team fighting. Only use this ability if the hero is around 1/4 of their remaining hp as it deals damage based on their missing HP to a multiplier at max level this multiplier is 0.9 (1.2 with the scepter) dealing massive amounts of damage to other durable heroes.

So basically, to deal maximum damage, STAY ALIVE!

Friends and Enemies

As Necrophos your friends are anybody who can get the enemy to low health for your ulti to deal max damage, your enemies are anybody who can get their health back relatively quickly as well as silence your only means of healing, any quick movement heroes are also a big problem for your old man legs.

Best Friends:
Axe: With his DOT you will be getting the enemies health low enough for an easy gank by both of your ultis and other abilities.

Phoenix: He has DOTs but he does lose health because of them, so keep him alive and you can both dive the tower together.

Dont Lane with:
Undying: He steals health from them yes, but it is their max health meaning that your ulti will in theory do less damage.
