Gondar, The Bounty Hunter

Introduction

Bounty Hunter is one of the strongest offlane heroes at the moment. This is because his ability to sit in stealth and still get xp, while staying relatively safe. He uses a
hit-and-run playstyle, picking off isolated heroes, rather than going head-to-head in a big engagement.

This guide will be based upon my experience playing him (since 2007).

Skills

Let's take a look at his skills:

Shuriken Toss

Hurls a deadly shuriken at an enemy unit, dealing damage and ministunning the target.

Range: 650
Damage: 100/200/250/325
Cooldown: 10s
Mana cost: 90/115/135/155

Shuri toss will be your execution/kill securing skill. The damage is great, but it doesn't scale that well at later skill levels.

Jinada

Bounty Hunter plans his next hit, passively adding a critical strike and maim to his next attack.

Duration: 3
Movement Speed Slow: 25%
Attack Speed Slow: 25
Critical Damage: 150% / 175% / 200% / 225%
Cooldown: 12/10/8/6

Jinada is a really good passive, it allows you to get CS earlygame(paired with shadow walk), and let's you slow down feeling opponenents,so your team can catch up.

Shadow Walk

Bounty Hunter becomes invisible and gains the ability to move through other units until he attacks or uses an ability. If he breaks the invisibility with an attack, that attack will deal bonus damage.

Duration: 15/20/25/30
Bonus Damage: 30/60/90/120
Fade Time: 1/0.75/0.5/0.25 Seconds
Cooldown: 15s
Mana cost: 50

Shadow walk is a multi-purpose spell. It can be used to escape from bad engagements, to set up ganks, or to simply get that +120 damage for your jinada. With a very short fade time at level 4, you can easily dodge stuns with this.

Track

Tracks an enemy hero and grants a gain in movement speed to allies near the hunted. If the target dies, Bounty Hunter and nearby heroes collect a bounty in gold.

Range: 900/1050/1200
Speed Radius: 900
Duration: 30
Bonus movement speed: 20%
Bonus Gold for Self: 150/200/250
Bonus Gold for Allies: 50/100/150
Cooldown: 10/7/5
Mana cost: 50

Track wins games. If you manage to secure a few kills in the early game with this, your team can easily snowball our of control. The movespeed bonus is huge, and sinergyzes well with Jinada. It gives true sight on,and around the target unit. You can cast this on magic immune units, but it can be dispelled.

Playstyle

As I mentioned before, Gondar is a hit-and-run hero. But before you can gank and get all that glorious #trackmoney, you will have to surive your lane first. How, you might ask.

LANING
Getting CS is not your priority in lane. It doesn't hurt, but all you need to do is get 6 as fast as you can. Before you start roaming, you should have normal boots, basi, and a bottle.

ROAMING
After 6, you should be all over the map, constantly looking for / setting up kills. Your standard combo should be the following:

    use shadow walk
strike target from stealth with jinada
    track target
keep rightclicking, / finish with shuriken
