#0 What to know about Ember
Ember is an ability based hero that initiates and disables heroes. However, Ember is very squishy because of it's starting health and low armour. Ember causes many different types of attacks ranging from Magical to Physical attacks.
Searing Chains: Disables 2 enemies around Ember and disables the enemy to move or attack. (I say enemy because it can either chain a creep or a hero. This skill is FNG based as it randomly chains an enemy)
Sleight Of Fist: Ember Spirit dashes around with blazing speed, attacking all enemies in the targeted area of effect, then returning to his start location. Deals bonus damage to heroes, and less damage to creeps.
Flame Guard: Ember spirit surrounds itself with a ring of fire that absorbs magical damage and deals damage per second in an area around Ember Spirit.
Fire Remnant: Ember Spirit generates Fire Remnant charges every 35 seconds, with a max of 3 charges. Releasing a charge sends a Fire Remnant that runs to the target location at 2.5x Ember Spirit's speed. Using Activate Fire Remnant, Ember Spirit can dash out to his Remnants, exploding them for area of effect damage. The targeted Remnant will be arrived at last.
#1 Picking Ember
Well firstly you need a lot of farm. Choose this build only when a few heroes can counter you such as Bloodseeker or Shadow Fiend. Do not I repeat do not choose Ember when theres a hero that can either slow you or stun you for a very long time or a hero that deals very high damage. Also, keep in mind that this build can only be used for mid laners. You can try playing it in other lanes but you must always get a lot of farm. Also keep in mind that Ember needs tons of mana so don't pick Ember when there's someone like KoTL or AM in the other team.
#2 Play style
Now that's for picking Ember. And for strategy, I recommend this build only for players that know how to initiate and dive. Always play this hero with precaution because you can easily die from ganks or nukers or high damage heroes. I have my Sleight of Fist at level one because I can either chase heroes or get farm safely. Choosing this build and this hero, you should be able to team fight well and escape quickly if you're in trouble. Always help to push towers and always have a way to escape if any enemy is near.
#3 Combos
For this build, there is only one combo that you must master. This combo is what I call the Finisher.
To do "the Finisher" you must SoF and Chain at the same time. While you're attacking with Sleight of Fist, you are able to chain the enemy in the area. When you have successfully chained the enemy hero, activate Flame Guard and body block it from returning to base or get closer to another enemy hero. This can also buy you some time for your allies to gank kill the enemy. When your ally has reached kill the mofo with all you've got. Remember your remnants do damage too so if you want to use all of your remnants on that enemy then JUST DO IT!
This other combo is not really a combo but a strategic survival thingy. When you're low on mana or on health and nobody is around you, place a remnant wherever you want and TP back to base. After you are 100% ok, activate your remnant and go back farming.
Starting Items
You must buy a poor man's shield and two branches. Ask a fellow teammate to share 2 tangos with you.
Early Game
Firstly, get enough farm and buy a bottle. The bottle is very crucial for your early game Ember because Ember will need a lot of mana. I mean a lot. For your combo, you need around 230+ mana and this will only leave you with 100+ mana. After that, get Travel Boots because you will have to roam a lot and go back and forth from your base and back. Then get a magic stick because that's what smart people do.
For your optional early games, such as Drums or Ring. Buy it when you really need it. Buy Ring when you can't get runes and buy drums when you keep getting ganked. Simple as that.
In your first 20-30 mins, you should get a Battlefury (unless you bought Drums or the Ring). Yes even though that's tough but it's worth every penny. Farming and killing would be much easier.
Mid Game
This is where it gets tough, when there's a stunner that keeps bugging you buy a Manta Style first. If there's a lot of squishy heroes then buy a Daedalus first. If there's a hero that keeps running away like Bloodseeker, buy a SnY or Blink so you can chain that B*TCH.
