DP Mid: The Ez Pz MMR Booster!

Intro

Well guys, I just starting playing Death Prophet this patch, and I can tell you one thing about her: She is overpowered as all get out!
So, I figured I would build this guide to hopefully show some people how to max her potential before she gets nerf-hammered!

Items

Early Game

Pretty much self-explanatory, just build into a wand, null, and phase boots. Some people get Bottle, but DP is an AMAZING last hitter, so I never feel the need to max her q out for last hits.

Core

Euls is absolutely necessary. It allows you to set up combo's, either to survive, or to kill others. When you max your e (which I suggest), you can force fights, and if the enemy focus's you, you can Siphon 3 or 4 of them, and Eul's yourself. By the time you land, you should have a pretty good amount of health, and can continue fighting.
For ganking, Euls - then silence.

O-CORE
This item is great for many reasons. Your nuke gets a cooldown, your ult gets a cooldown, and your abilities give you lifesteal which is just ridiculous. Also, when you get Boots of Travel, you can move across the map a little quicker, and join your team in time to initiate.

Assault Cuirass
Huhm. Reduce their armor, increase your survivability - what else could you ask for? Especially since your ult is Physical Damage Base. You want to get it early before they get one of their own to negate yours.

Situational / Late Game

Here, you need to just decide what you gotta do. You should end the game by around 25-30 minutes. If you can't, find out why, and build against it.
BKB: You get singled out - magic nukes.
Drums: Your team doesn't seem to want to fight, and you had a rough early game.
Heart: Just more tankiness, I personally never go this route.
Refreshor: The enemy is good at dodging your ult, just refresh it for the next time they want to initiate.
Scythe: They have a carry who is taking you on 1v5 and somehow winning (ie. LC and AM).
Shivas: More armor, and more magic damage: Good for survivability.
BoT: Just good for jumping around the map, and allows you to capitalize on enemy miss-positioning.
Linkins: Useful for Annoying Ults - Lina, and LC, AM, etc.
Ghost Scepter: Great if the other team has alot of Physical Damage.

Introducing Yourself to the Game!

As a Death Prophet, you really, REALLY, want to get into EVERYONE's head. Yes, including your own team-mates. The reason behind this is because DP is a serious captain on the battlefield. For example, you can convince your entire team to fight just by spamming "Exorcism Ready: Level X."

The best way of getting into the player's head - First Blood.
"SO... How do I do that?" You ask... Good question.
Death Prophet has outrageous range and damage for early lane dominance. The whole purpose of you laning mid, is to zone out their mid player.
In my experience, the best thing to do is to harass/trade hits with them until they have about half-health. After that, I would suggest blocking your waves, and getting them to at least step in the river. Once they have done that, you should be able to use your 3rd ability to slow them, while right clicking, then using your 1st as a last result to finishing them off. I have gotten FB in almost every match with DP this way.
Almost IMMEDIATELY after you get that first blood (usually around 3:30-4:00), go for rune, and gank whatever lane the enemy is deepest in. Once again, use your first and second ability to secure kills.

By this point, you should have enough to afford some boots, (maybe phase depending on how well you last hit in your lane) and a TP. Get back to mid and continue to dominate.
Around now, you have gotten your team mates to trust you, and they will most likely follow you to the end of the game, it is just up to you to not lead them to death.

Transition into Mid-Game

Controlling Your Team

Its time to dominate. You have your ult, and you need to use it. Force the fights, and push the towers. Some good tips for this,
1. Eul's + Silence: This combo is great when used against players that can single handedly screw you, such as Jugg, Voker, OD.
2. The closer you stand to your target, the faster your ghosts will kill it.
3. Your ult's damage is Physical, so armor reduction goes a long way. If you have supports, I would suggest you ask them to get a Medallion, and encourage your carries to get a Deso.
4. Every time your ult is up, force the issue. If you need to, buy wards yourself so that you can push lanes aggressively. Don't complain. As the leader, if your supports see you buying the wards, and placing them aggressively, they will all think aggressively.

Late Game

Well... Why?

First of all, why did it go late game?
Then, build what you have to take care of said issue.
If you couldn't get your team to push early for some random reason, just hope that your true carry had the sense to farm up. The best thing you can do is keep yourself alive in fights, and silence / kill their supports before they do ANYTHING useful at all. You should then be looking at a 3v5, which you should win quickly enough. Use some items like Eul's and Scythe to take their carry out of commission. Dodge the BKB's if you don't have your ult, and dodge the Omni ult.
