Hey guys, welcome to my guide! I'd just like to throw a shout out to DotACinema for giving me this guide. Their video is below. :)
Please note, however, that all of the written part of the guide is actually written by me, and not just a copy. Only the skill build/item builds are from DotACinema.
Weaver (In my opinion at least) is an excellent carry that's a lot different from the other standard carries you see a lot in DotA 2. (And DotA 1 for the most part!) Although most carries are generally easy to kill if focused, Weaver offers a lot of survivability through his skillset, while still being able to put out tons of damage.
Pros:
Good Survivability/Escaping
Great Harass
Amazing Late-Game Damage
Cons:
Extremely Item Dependent
Not much damage in late game
Can be zoned out in lanes against other ranged heroes
[The Swarm]: Weaver creates a swarm of 12 beetles that latch onto enemies they come in contact with. Only one beetle attaches per enemy, and they attack every 1.5 seconds, dealing damage, and lowering armor. The swarm also grants vision.
Range: 3000
Beetle duration: 8/12/16/20
Damage per attack: 15/20/25/30
Armor Reduction per attack: 1/1/1/1
Mana Cost: 100/100/100/100
Cooldown: 36/33/30/27
