Disruptor- the thunder monkey

I think that playing a true support disruptor should have arcane boots instead of the void stone. By mid game you usually dont have any problems with mana anymore and the extra mana for your teammates can go a long way in teamfights. I also think that leveling barrier more early helps finish off heroes easier. Level one barrier is not enough to ensure a kill unless they were out of position or really diving hard.
on a side note the rod of atos is a really good idea, be it pre or post barrier to ensure a kill. I will try that next time.
