You claim that it provides utility for the team, which is untrue. At 900 radius it provides utility for yourself and your laning partner.

My biggest issue is that, as bastard was trying to point out but didn't do quite effectively, Haste doesn't scale well.

Heros with 300 movement speed (pretty normal) will get an additional 18 points of movement at level one. That is a good number. unfortunately, the numbers start going down after that, 12 more points at level 2 onward.

Since spirit breakers damage is poop, greater bash scales very well, and his ultimate does a garanteed greater bash, greater bash should be maxed ASAP. Early points into haste and charge are fine... but you don't want to max them first if your damage isn't that great and your ultimate is weaker if you don't have more points into that skill.

Spirit breaker will be ganking with Charge before level 8, it provides utility to the other lane you're ganking. As I pointed out, Greater Bash has even worse scaling and will actually scale itself with Empowering Haste. Any even semi-competitive leveling for SB will not max Greater Bash first. Also, if he just got Armlet first, not only would you get attack speed, but also 56 bonus damage and more survivablity.

@bastardodentro

Haste provides utility to your team, easier farming, and the ability to engage or break from a gank. While the Greater Bash has the same proc chance and cooldown, as well as the same movement speed bonus, as well as a badly scaling bash duration. This is the correct skill build.

My problem is, why get a MoM over a clearly better and easier acquired Armlet?

I like the items but not the skill build and the formatting of the guide (add some colors maybe).
The skill build is wrong imo: greater bash should be skilled and maxed first since it improves your damage a lot early game (29 damage per level without boots or aura), then you should max charge since it doulbes the stun on contact duration and last you put the 3 remaining points in aura cause you get the least benefit from it early game (4% improvement per level is really poor compared to your other skills). That's the math:
Base speed: 290
Speed with treads: 345
Speed with level 1 aura and treads: 365.7
Speed increase per additional level of aura: 13.8
Speed with level 4 aura: 407.1
Damage of level 1 bashes with level 1 aura and treads: 36.5
Damage of level 4 bashed with level 1 aura and treads: 146.3
Damage of level 1 bashes with level 4 aura and treads: 40.7

I hope it's clear enough!
