I think you're seriously underrating Lens on him by getting it after Aghs. You can get it right after bottle and wand, the buildup is amazing because of and it is extremely good with absolutely all of his skills. You don't need an Aghs that early anyway because early game you need to get all T1 and lens is way better for that than PB.

Lens is so good on this hero I'd stack them if I could.

I do agree with Dimony on this one. In the early game you really welcome the extra range and the extra magical damage from it, and it's one of those that helps you staying alive to farm the bigger, later game items.
