Rikimaru is the carry/hard carry, which has great potential from the mid/late game, people sometimes or very often consider it as OVP or Noob hero, well thats not really true,to play Rikimaru players need to have great knowledge of the other heroes and what they can do.
Rikimaru is considered as best scouter.
Anyway lets move on to guide...
There are two item builds.
First one (which im using very often is proved to be "damage boost") that has big potential whole game.I rarely use lifesteal on early levels.
Justification of the items:
Basher/Abysall Blade:
Why? It gives you tremendous advantage over the enemy, and also str bonus,bash..
Why yasha first???
Because it gives you more walk/run speed, quicker attacks and agility bonus,DONT use this item if there is anti mage or alot of mages in opponent team (for that i use diffusial rather than yasha)
2 Wraith bands??
Major agility bonus on early game + yasha does wonders.
MoM??
Lifesteal + more att speed, priceless but optional.
Butterfly?
You know why...best item for Rikimaru
S&Y?
Str bonus,maim,move speed,att speed...
PMS?
Agility + damage block.
Item build 2:
This item build is purely optional for example if there are many disables, burst damage etc in opponent team.
Item build starts the same as build 1...but except yasha, rush Diffusial which is great vs mages, anti mage (without mana he cant blink + smoke screen YUMMY)
Manta Style/Naruto Style:
Illusions! Who would guess :D
Orchid Malevolence:
More silence,Att speed and boom!
HoT:
More hp,massive Hp regen.
BKB:
You know why...spell immunity, decent damage and str bonus
MoM:
Same as guide one.
This build focuses more on support/mid-carry Riki but it works good, you can add basher and butterfly too.
Skill build 1 and justification:
Backstab on first level gives you more farm potential, after that smoke screen is priceless because you can easily evade ganks + silence, after that max blink strike (less cd and more finish-kill potential),after that max backstab, then smoke screen, ofc on lvl 6,11 and 16 permanent invis.
Skill Build 2 (Optional):
If there are many nukers in lane lvl first smoke screen then blink strike so you can escape easier, after that max blink strike (ofc on lvl 6,11 and 16 perm invis) then backstab then smoke screen and then stats.
Pros:
+ Very good scouter
+ High Damage potential whole game
+ Awesome aoe silence/slow/att miss chance
+ Backstab :D
+ Invisible
+ High agility on lvl 1 and armor
+ Can help tremendously in team fights with his Smoke Screen
Riki is very good vs agility heroes and int heroes (squishy ones) and hes ok vs str heroes but keep in mind that he can be easily countered, best is to scout first then attack lone target or just support your team with smoke screen, and grab last hit with blink strike, youre carry ffs deal with it! :D
Cons:
- Easily Countered
- From lvl 1 to lvl 6 Riki is extremely vaulnerable (Sentry wards, low hp)
- Squishy
WORST ENEMIES:
His ultimate is a pain but can be countered with Diffusial Purge.
Ultimate: AUUCH
Blood Rage + Rupture...guess yourselves...Altough Blood Rage can be purged,Rupture cannot.
Ugly fishlike dude,Amplify Damage reveals you and gives you tremendous lowered armor...can be purged with Diffusial.

Last Word + Global Silence...
Now thats all main Worst heroes i can think of right now,so bear with me ill update this guide when i can.
How to: Teamfight
0. Scout ahead, for superior positioning, if possible (be wary of wards and Gem).
1. Blink to the biggest casting threat (or another target, use your discretion).
2. Smoke/Purge combo the hero you blinked to.
3. Right click him down, Blink Strike when possible.
4. Repeat from step 1.
All and all Rikimaru is a good hero if he farms well and get many kills in early game, which in late game hes a monster, but consider this that there are alot of disables for Rikimaru which can be deadly for him.
