Centaur has many great skills. When looking for a kill in lane try and land a hoof stomp and immediately double edge. You should be able to get the kill with a couple more right clicks. Try and save Stampede for team fights unless it is absolutely necessary.
*Tip- While chasing an enemy to land Hoof Stomp, right click AHEAD/BESIDE enemy rather then on the enemy. The moment you are ahead or beside him press 'Q' for guaranteed stun.
