Pros and Cons of Picking Techies.

Pros:

Almost always gets 1st blood
Massive damage in an AoE at lv1
Instant deny that deals huge damage
Unmatched creep pushing potential
Land Mines deal damage to towers
Play mind games with the enemy
Scare enemy carries out of lane
Many more...

Cons:

Very squishy
No escapes until you get euls and forcestaff, just suicude
Counterable by smart players
Kind of hard to get xp and farm early game if you dont get a lot of hero kills

Explanation to my Madness

Starting Items:

Ideally, you want 5 clarities to mine more, Plain and Simple. However, if you are lacking a support (You shouldnt have picked techies if you were lacking support, DUH!) BUT, if this happens, you should buy courier for the team. Really simple.

Core Items:

First things first, Soul Ring. 100% MUST be the 1st item you buy. Go for an early kill to get it before 2:00, remember, techies is 1st blood king. After you have acquired soul ring, go for Arcane boots, this shouldnt be too hard, just plant a level 2-3 mine into a low health creep wave for easy farm (dont steal last hits from carries if you dont have to). After you have your Arcanes, grab 1 or 2 stacks of sentries. Dewarding is key. After this is done, you wanna start building a Euls Scepter of Divinity. This is really useful for escapes, and initiation. It also provides nice movement speed and mana regen that is much needed on Techies.

Mid-Late Game Items:

After you have your core items all set, you should start working towards Aghs Scepter. This will greatly increase damage of your remote mines, increasing it to 750 damage at max level. (OP, amiright?). Now, at this point they have gems of true sight, so they see your mines, right? right. Thats why you get a forcestaff. Only 2250 gold, and at Techies late game farm, that takes like 3minutes if that. All you do it plant like 4 mines mid, in an obvious spot, and wait for that juicy Drow to come down with her gem. She starts shooting, and shes aimed right at the mines. PHEW! Forcestaff that Ho right into them and give 'er hell! Snag that gem and haul *** back to base. Bam. Just made drow waste 900 gold. Now that the gem is on Cooldown, you can get back to mining. If you are doing good, and have good lategame farm from pushing back creepwaves, you can afford a Bloodstone. Crucial for mana and instant deny, you will have no more mana problems. At this point, you have Arcanes, Euls, Aghs, Bloodstone, and Forcestaff. If you need to, get rid of arcanes for Boots of travel to lane push easier.

Hope you enjoyed my guide as much as I enjoyed making it! If it helped, or you enjoyed reading it (if you read it), feel free to upvote, as it took me a long time! Thanks!
