So you wanna play meepo? Brave soul, welcome to the advanced meepo guide
"If you ask me, life is all about who you know and what you can find. When you live up in the Riftshadow Ruins, just finding food can be tough. So you need to cut corners, you need to scrounge, you need to know your strengths. Some of the beasts up there can kill you, so you need a way to trap the weak and duck the strong. On the upside, the ruins have history, and history is worth a lot to some people. There used to be a palace there, where they had all these dark rituals. Bad stuff. If you survived the ceremony, they would shatter a crystal and split your soul into pieces. They made great art though! Sculptures and such. Let me tell you: sometimes you stumble onto some of those old carvings. Take a pack full of those to town and sell them, then get yourself food for a few weeks. If luck is really on your side, you might find a Riftshadow crystal. Get it appraised and start asking around. Someone always knows some crazy fool looking for this kind of thing. If all else fails, sell it to a Magus the next time one's in town. They love that stuff. Still, whatever you do, be careful handling those crystals. You do not want one to go off on you. It really hurts."
Well then, let's get started! :D
Pros
-Blink Poof is very strong/ With 5 meepos, (4 poofs from other meepos plus double poof from meepo prime= 840 MAGIC DAMAGE :O
-Great split pushed if you have good awareness
-Sub meepos in and out of fights with BOTS
-Farms crazy fast
-Fun as hell
Cons
-5 meepos= extra liabilities
-Micro can get overwhelming at times
-You get flamed hard and reported when you do poorly
-Takes a lot of practice
Early Game
I am not going to repeat the skills because I can trust you can read.
That Second Point
So basically when laning, your second point is always extremely debatable, Net or Geostrike?
Well it is situational.
If you are mid, almost always geostrike (Unless your supports are ganking)
If your laning partner has a good stun/disable, go for net. The 4 second disable plus your partners' will definitly secure a kill
If a kill is not possible, geostrike for harass and extra last hit power
Easy Kill=Net
Harass=Geostrike
Why only 1 in net?
Because you have blink! Who needs that net range when you can just blink right next to your enemy and throw your pizza on him!
When you play meepo, don't be a PU**Y!
When you reach level 4, that may be your time to shine!
People are stupid and underestimate Meepo's early game potential.
At level 4, you have
4 second disable (Net)
200 magic damage worth of poof
10% slow with geostrike
With a good laning partner, you can Grape your lane
ON THE OTHER HAND
When your lane sucks and you can barely last hit, do this
Sap exp with meepo prime and last hit only if you are 99% safe
With meepo 2, stack camps. Once you max out your poof, go into the jungle and go at it
Focuse on getting your blink so you can do the gankarino (Ganks)
Once you get more meepos, farm lane with meepo prime and jungle with the other guys when you are at 3 or 4 meepos. If you lanes are pushed, farm 2 lanes and stick a couple of guys in the jungle.
Also, if you see one hero farming a lane too far, PUNISH IT!, blink poof on him and ez money.
Just make sure you are on track for 25 WAY before anyone else!
Hotkeys
1=Meepos prime
2=All the other meepos
3=All of the meepos
4=meepo 4 n 5
5=meepo 1,2,3
6=Illusions from rune or something
Hot keys don't win games, but they help. Just find something that suits you.
The hot keys "1" "2" and "3" are the most important ones.
Blink Poof
Ok, the hardest part about this guy is the blink poof.
Go in a bot match and practice this shizz cuz it ain't easy.
1.Select all meepos except for prime meepo
2.It is like a super move, (W+Tab+Click) Just press those buttons in that order really fast
3.Hotkey to meepo prime
4. Blink
5. Net
6.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Note: For poof to work, you don't actually have to click on the meepo you want to poof to. Meepos poof to the closest meepo from where you click
