I Usually start harassing right away at mid and sometimes i get the opportunity to get a kill without my ulti because of how over extended they get and by the time they are going back i am able to hit them a lot and slow them down enough to where they cant get past their tower before they are dead i dont alway wait till lvl 6 and if i do thats because they got sentries right away but if they try to fight back its usually never a good idea unless they are nukers because the bite also has a miss chance which is very effective early game and through out.
Battlefury has always been a favorite of mine... I usually play mid Riki--A LOT harder than brood, because invisibility is at level 6 and he has next to no health early game. ANYWAYS, my friend has his brood build set for the same lane (mid but can go any) but he never gets the incapacitating bite until level 7, when he puts almost everything into it. You usually won't be attacking early-game against most heroes, and the only time he really goes to attack/harass is at level 6. I've seen him play, and the strategy really does work. Anyways, to sum it all up, the bite skill usually isn't of much use until around level 7, where you will be much more open to attacking your opponents with insatiable hunger.
Ya i use your skill build if im laning with som one else just so i can get a quick push going but when im mid i like them being more on my tower side so i can get a farm, thats the reason i dont focus much on my spawn spiderlings and ya i could have done the color better, thanks for the +1 btw =).
Quite a unique (but good) guide for broodmother IMO. I personally run broodmother more of an offlane solo rather than mid because of the benefits it give (keeping the level advantage you gain in mid while making it easier to kill enemies as all you really need is for an ally with a stun to TP in and then just right click away, abusing your level advantage), so for now I will suggest the following:
2. Improve the color in general (the guide isn't that colorful IMO. Excluding the item analysis section.)
3. Add a "good allies list"
4. Add Earthshaker to the enemies list (Echo slam can just OBLITERATE you if you stand near your whole team of spiderlings)
5. Add more items into consideration such as Power Treads . (I personally get other items such as Orchid Malevolence just in case I get shut down, I can still silence the most important caster/disabler of the enemy team.
Ya, once you have your ulti though, but before that just harass with 1 hit at a time on them so they have no sight of you and they will most likely miss their attack, once you get your ulti pop it off and end them.
You attack him once then go somewhere else on the web so that they miss their attack, thats what i usually do. you dont need to use spells, but at level 6 if they are harassed enough use your ulti and auto attack them.

Sentry Wards to counter Sentry Wards
Buying a Gem is a huge risk. Wards are cheap, take up less space, and have multiple uses. Dust, as mentioned, will cause you to run away.
1. Create an alternative skill build that focuses more on early game pushing (maxing Spawn Spiderlings first, Spin Web next, then Incapacitating Bite last while getting Insatiable Hunger at levels 6, 11 and 16). Pretty sure it has its merits considering that Spawn Spiderlings can be used as a nuke, an alternative of taking Incapacitating Bite early)
Anyway, you get a +1 from me. :)
