Summary

Hello, and welcome to my guide for Pudge, thanks for reading!

They way I play Pudge is to be as unkillable as possible, the item and skill builds will help that. You always want Rot at level 1, and power level your hook, but dont really use it unless you have to until it is level 2 or 3, early on the range and damage are not worth the mana used to use it. Usually Pudge is a solo mid, so having a bottle and rune control is important for winning the lane.

Most people like to max Rot after the hook because of the damage, but in early fights sometimes it will end up getting you killed. The slow percentage stays the same, so I max Flesh Heap so the mages on the other team can't touch my nuts at all.

After getting boots and maybe a bracer, the only thing you need to focus on is the Hood of Defiance. The spell resistance stacks making you super hard to kill ,and it gives you a lot of HP regen. After that, I love to get a Scepter, because the bonus you get when ulting can save you if you have high strength stats. After that, it's all about stacking Hearts of Tar***que.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Devastating Gank potential.
- Great Ultimate/ Hook Combo.
- Stacking Passive makes him great as the game goes on.
- Perfect for going noob stomping.
- Can deny himself with Rot

Cons:
- Sometimes Rot can accidentaly kill yourself (lets say you get stunned.)
- Pretty slow without good boots.
- Ultimate is channeled, so it can be easily interrupted.

Team Work

As Pudge, you are all about the ganks. By level 6 you should be on your way, hopefully with a rune, killing the other lanes.

When teamfights start, you should usually be the one starting it by landing a good hook, then your team should pounce on your prey, then your looking at a 4v5 fight. After that, just toggle on Rot and go mess them up, as you have a high attack damage.

Getting a good start can be essential to winning, as Pudge can snowball hard.
Thanks for reading, happy hunting.
