I agree with Kirbyruled and Numeta. Vanguard isn't hugely necessary on SK. If you want some sort of survivability (if your that way inclined) it'd be much better to grab a Heart. Not only does it provide you with the HP and damage, but it allows you to leave your Armlet on so you can gain the benefits of the Armlet without worrying to switch it on and off. Great guide nevertheless, most impressive. Bookmarked.
I'm also not a fan of Vanguard on SK; the way I see it, stacking both Armlet and Vanguard is somewhat redundant. Reincarnation is a fantastic excuse to build more offensively as well. My suggestion to replace Vanguard is Desolator (after Armlet). Deso is the perfect mid game item for Skeleton King. It's -6 Armor on hit orb increases not only your damage output with attacks/Critical Strikes; it also increases your lifesteal via Vampiric Aura, since less Armor = more DPS = more Lifesteal! Also you could mention BoT as an option over Treads for games that go super late game.
Other than that, good work with this guide. +Rep/+1
DOTAFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new hero, or fine tune your favorite DotA hero’s build and strategy.
Admittedly I did neglect an orb choice with this guide, and Desolator would fit the bill quite well.
When I play SK, my item pickups tend to vary so I'm tempted to include some more situational item builds depending on matchups.
Hopefully I'll have some time later in the week to make the changes.

Solves the Mana issues by stealing Health that you regain with his Vampiric Aura anyway.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll make the changes both to my guide and my own item pickups!

I stand by the Vanguard pickup though, especially against attack-heavy teams, which I tend to encounter the majority of the time at the moment.
