Before you argue against any of my items, please take the time to actually read why I picked them. I'm not a fan of repeating myself multiple times simply because someone doesn't take the time to read my guide and my reasoning. I also ask that formulate your criticisms clearly and explain WHY you don't like something, instead of simply stating that you don't like it. I don't care if you don't want to click the link, but please don't criticize my guide unless you've actually read it.
Introduction
Windrunner is a bit of an enigma. She has a very unique and I believe that some people find that intimidating. To put it bluntly, she is a hybrid between a support and a carry. To some, this can be quite frightening because they assume you will have to pick either role and play it. While this is a way of playing Windrunner, I feel that it is an outdated one. Windrunner can't deal the damage that hard carries deal, and she benefits too much from items to fall under the hard support category. Because of this, I play her as a semi carry with an item focus that fixates on utility rather than damage. The great thing about Windrunner is that she is intelligence based, which allows her to build for utility without missing out on damage. That utility coupled with her moderately high damage and mobility is what makes her great.
