Another way of playing Brood

Introduction

Hello everyone, I am a lower level player and I have not made a guide before, however I was suprised that this alternative way to play brood wasn't on here.

If your not bothered about reading the whole guide, I reccomend you at least give this build a shot, its quite fun and suprisingly powerful

With this guide your biggest aim is to dominate your lane enemy rather than destroy towers fast, as the mid game comes you should have a good gold advantage and your lane enemy a big disadvantage in both gold and xp, for this reason solo laning against a carry is brilliant as Broodmother; You are the Anti-Carry.

If you are looking for a high level guide for competitive play, look at the other guides on this site, I am open to constructive criticism and as always, read before you rate.

(A further note, I wrote this incredibly tired so please correct my spelling and grammatical errors if you want)

When Not To Pick Anti-Carry Broodmother

Obviously dont pick Anti-Carry Broodmother if your team has a melee agility or strong invisiblity presence and desperatly needs an initiator, support or hard carry.
Your contribution towards victory stems greatly from your laning phase, Thus, skilling your passive slow early on and relying on it for kills make most characters with strong escape mechanisms particularly annoying. Long stun durations will often leave you without a kill, but a large dent in your enemy's mana pool. Also when stunned in your web you will be protected from any further targeted damage.

The bigger issue lies with Spammable Blinks and movement speed bursts or outright more durable agressive picks.

(will add a list here later)

Skills

Spawn Spiderlings is to be used later on for any mob killing in lane or jungle kill stealing/securing, and finally the Spiderlings will tank alot of damage and help you to push towers, you can even use them to block opponents if you are good with your micro (if a 40% slow isnt enough) just try not to let an Earthshaker anywhere near you and them together.
For a low skill brood I think this ability is not useful enough and potentially alot of gold to the enemy team if used wrongly.

Spin Web Makes broodmother **********ing durable. whenever the enemy isnt paying attention harrass them with auto attacks, you have 6 tangos for a reason.
Placement: First off, dont bunch them up, leave at least 2 seconds walking distance between them. If you are on the hard lane (enemy jungle) place the first web on the clump of trees seperating lane from jungle you can destroy all of the trees if done correctly. Second web goes inbetween your tower and the first web or theirs, remember the tower gives vision within its attacking range, however its nice to have a web going right under their tower for when you enevitably dive later on. Place that one depending on who you think will be pushing the lane more until level 3.
The next will be put on the unwebbed tower and fourth will span into their jungle. Fith on the steps to the river and sixth on or near the rune spot, seventh and eigth spanning into their jungle. If you have complete lane dominance putting a web behind their tower on the creeps path is great for chasing/picking off stragglers and clearing a creep wave with your ult alone.

Incapacitating Bite: The reason I made this guide, such a powerful passive left until level 10-14 on all the other guides and one of the reasons I reckon brood has such a low win rate overall. Sure in high level play people like the early pushing and jungling properties of the spiderlings, but by lower skill level players not maxing this first you are missing out on some of the easiest kills imaginable early game, might not help so much with your creep farming but it will get you kills and completely shuts off the enemys gold gain through fear, harrassment and death. Be prepared for some heavy enemy reinforcements entering your lane after a couple of kills.

Insatiable Hunger is ridiculous at level 6 with 3 points in Incapacitating Bite in duo lanes it means you can chomp down on the support as soon as he seperates from his carry in about 6 or 7 hits keep aware of your web placement as once you come off it, the delay between bites when they run is much larger (unless you have your boots and yasha)

Depending on your lane you might want to get a third point in spin web early if your getting out harassed, if they have a jungler near your lane or they are pulling creeps constantly. However you should get your permaslow leveled as soon as possible otherwise. At level 5 try to pop their escape/cc when the lane is pushed and if your feeling confident, just autoattack them constantly, imagine your drow, but without the kiting ***gyness; if they do turn then you will win with your 30% miss on them at that level. This is all assuming you are on a solo lane, if you are on a 1v2 or 2v2 lane, wait until level 6 or when they split up.
