Usually I would max Sleight of Fists because the bonus at level 4 is very significant, only if I wanted to play aggressively.
Because you chose to play defensively, after maxing Flame Guard, you still should max out Sleight of Fists because again, the bonus damage is very powerful. An extra second to the stun isn't going to do much and 2 seconds is more than enough to seriously injure someone.
Item build for me is very solid. But you should consider getting Battle Fury and Desolator as a must for him to keep up with the constant damage and farm more effectively, since he is a farm-dependent hero.
