Laning Stage/Early Game (0:00-10:00)

In the laning stage, your goal should be to farm. If you find opponents out of position, capitalize (obviously), but don't worry about rotating/teamfighting. Greevil's Greed allows you to farm like mad-man; in fact, it allows you to be the fastest farmer in game. Keep aware of your Greevil's Greed timer, try not to lose too much gold. You should have Hand of Midas by at least 9 minutes. If you feel like you're behind, get HoM before boots.

Mid-Game (10:00-25:00)

Now that you have your Midas you should sky-rocket in farm. You can consider going for kills after getting your Shadow Blade (Starting an Unstable Concoction, activate Shadow Blade, chase down an opponent, throw concoction, slay). But generally use this period to farm up core items. After picking up your BKB, you should feel comfortable to teamfight. Your farming should stop once you have your Skull Basher, and your slaying should start.

Late Game (25:00+)

Now is your time to shine. The opposing team should crumble at this point. Your Abyssal Blade is key for shutting down an opposing carry. Your insane attack speed with Chemical Rage will proc Skull Basher, making it easy to keep a carry shut down. I was considering putting Assault Cuirass under situationals, but I decided it is semi-core for an Alchemist. Not only the minus armor, but the attack speed and armor are very key. The Mjollnir is good because, face it, you are going to be focused, and if you are going to go down, you might as well take some opponents with you.
By now, you probably would have won. But if not, you can move into your luxury items. With a pickup of the Heart of Tarrasque you will be virtually unkillable, but you need to remember you can still die. BoT will be important late game, infinite TPs will indefinitely pay off (with the +100 movement speed not hurting).

Situationals

Heaven's Halberd is EXTREMELY situational. Only pick this up if these conditions are met:
-An opposing carry is out-farming you.
-You need more tankiness.
-Your team has no single-target control.
-The opposing carry is not a caster.

MKB should only picked up if your opponents have evasion (PA, Brewmaster, Butterfly, e.t.c.).

Battlefury should only be picked up if you need AOE clearance for heroes like PL, Broodmother, e.t.c.
