good guide id suggest changing starting items to include a ring of protection and building it into a bassilus whether u build it into a vlads or not u need the early regen and the armour allows u to trade hits and be more aggressive in lane

also u don't mention skadi it situational but atk slow from it stacked with heavens curse and shivas is a ***** for any carry

Nice guide! I like the notes on laning, and especially about warding the enemy pull camp.

A useful point about Abadon's Ultimate is that you can use the time to heal no matter whether the opposition attack you or not. I always go for an Urn of Shadows, just as suggested here, and when the ultimate triggers, if the enemy stop attacking you, pop a charge and heal up. Sometimes the animation can prompt less experienced players to attack you anyway.

For added tankiness it is worth looking at items that boost your hp regen, and in particular the Hood of Defiance. The magic resistance may be useful against casters and the +8 hp regen will help you to stay out there without dropping to low hp. Plus, it builds from cheaper items so you can buy the Cloak or Ring of Health first. The Drum of Endurance is a great item on Abbadon as an early purchase, as you can build it from cheap starting items, the stats help with everything, and the movement speed really helps you to chase stragglers, or to run away when things get too hot.

Finally a useful thing to highlight is enemies who can one shot you from just above 400 hp without your ultimate triggering. People like Phantom Assassin or Templar Assassin, or any late game carry with a Daedalus will take you from 500 to 0 in one hit, so your ultimate won't fire passively and save you. If you are fighting these guys, be ready to trigger your ultimate manually before you get down too low. A special note about Axe, he can kill you from 625 hp with his ulti Culling Blade (when it is level 3 if he has the sceptre), so don't even get that low with him about.

Very nice guide that highlights everything abbadon is great at.
If your trilaning abbadon as a support, I will almost always pick up a early headress for the hp sustain btw.
