A guide to blink dagger, the best item in the game.

to blink straight after you need to shift que the blink the the direction you died. if you dont know what direction = a little trick i learned watching my mate playing wraith king (he has a 5k mmr) is the shift que your blink during the resurrection process as when he comes back to life the animation will be facing the same way you died at and in that 1.5 second animation you can shift que your blink.

though any good team will lay down a disable over time to lock you in like jakiros ice wall or invokers icewall. because DoT abilites will shut down your blink before the que is activated.

A guide about Blink Dagger? Oh yeah! Add for the love of Shadow Shaman and possibly all heroes within reasons! It's really awesome to play with Blink Dagger, it just makes me felt that I'm playing at higher level :D! Great guide and useful once I read some tips.1+

you can blink away before doamag over time ticks in , but you have to blink in the direction they you are facing so you dont have to turn around for a small second.

i dont know if you can do it before fast DOT's like ion shell or rot hits though.

well, i wanna do something like that: i need instantly blnk after lost the aegis or wk's reincarnation.. how can i do this if there is a hero with radiance around me? is that possible? if not, which is the best method to instantly blink before take any damage after a reincarnation?

Personally I'd really like to see opinions on Blink Dagger on "edgy" heroes, such as Omniknight (hero has no mobility, good ganking combo with the slow, near-perfect escape with Repel), Nature's Prophet (become Tinker, except that you can actually push towers), Vengeful Spirit (escape after Nether Swap with quick reflexes, solves the problem that Venge gets kited easily, good synergy with short range stun, maybe an item for carry Venge?), Juggernaut (hero has no initiation, gets kited easily, and Omnislash cast range is terrible), or Lone Druid (blink on a guy and recall your bear, sounds pretty sick right? ^^)

I loved your guide, and i buy Blink Dagger on almost every support, but... All of you are whrong.

Blink Dagger on Dragon Knight is really sick, I love it! It's even better than blink on Sven or Lifestealer, because DK's stun is melee range. DK has one and one only weakness and this is being slow as hell and getting kited, and blink solves that weakness completely. Besides that he's ultra tanky, a DPS machine, and one of the hardest late-game carries because of the insane splash damage.

The best item in the game for me is Observer Wards, without a contest...won me more games than all other items combined.

Also since Blink Dagger now has zero manacost, I think that it has actually become a farm-boosting item. Battle Fury Anti-Mage is considered one of the top flash-farmers in the game, and in comparison I think that Blink Dagger Sven is really underrated :)

Thank you for making this guide, I love blink dagger and have started picking it up on heros like pudge. And it is great. I just want to thank you for telling other people how OP blink dagger it. ONe request though. Add LC to this list ASAP because i see too many people getting shadow blade on her, then asking why they can't get duels off.
