7.00 Treant Protector - Basher (Carry)

Introduction

With this new update Treant Protector has become even more powerful. Most people see him as a support hero but he can be a powerful carry.

Of course like with all other heroes he is situational and can be countered so pick him wisely. Remember his mana pool is not great so going up against heroes like Anti-mage can be problematic.

On the other hand he works very well with Pudge. Ganking people with the pair using bash, leach, hook can win the game very early.

Talents

Level 1. +2 Mana regen may not seem like a lot but consider if you really want to waste one slot for a mana item especially at level 10. +30 Attack Speed can be very nice and is an option if using a Raindrop or something to help regenerate mana or have a Crystal Maiden on the team.

Level 2. +90 Gold/Min will help a lot more then +25 speed which is not that useful for this hero having passive invisibility and Overgrowth with 800 radius.

Level 3. +65 Damage will help kill enemies even faster and that is very important for this hero. 15% cooldown reduction is just not too handy considering Overgrowth is already quite low.

Level 4. -50s Respawn Time is the cherry on top. This is very handy when defending. Though +5 Living Armor Block Instances can be an option.

Remember these are all situational. Pick depending on the situation.
