Hello. I play ES quite a lot and i can say im quite experienced with him... the thing is, he's kinda hard to kill once he maxed rolling boulder and NOT DYING is the most important part of late-game, which is the reason why i think he does scale quite well into the late-game, once he has a Scythe he can quite 1v1 heroes like sven as long as they have wasted their stuns. this also brings me to the next point which is the fact that why no one buys BKB on him, his roll is basically a 0.6 channeling spell, and he needs to stay alive in teamfights to do his combo of stun-silence-ult. i never heard of bkb which made me write this post, overall, great guide! i'd be very happy if you kept updating this guide and made new guides.+1 for sure

I haven't updated this guide in forever and I even had a 6.83 version up but never released it. I'm going to wait for Thursday to see if there are any 6.85 changes to makes but I've got more time to work on the guide. As for the videos They might be on private or something but I'll fix them

Edit: it looks like my videos are locked so I will recreate them on a different account and it should work

The video's aren't working on here though? Is that just me?

I'll have a look on the vidoes, as far as I know they are working but I'll try to convert them into a gif format soon. And it's always a good idea to play bot games or co-op bot games before trying out a hero like Earth Spirit. I find myself play full bot game after every 2 games so that I can practice hard heroes or new skillbuilds.

Thank me later

These videos are a little dated seeing that the geomagnetic grip stuns. I'll work on making them int gif format soon enough.

Exactly. Most of my es games that I win end before 30 minutes, after that you are basically a feeding ward *****. Thanks for the comment :)

Not really, you're doing same **** whole game, just like other nukers your damage doesn't scale into late game, but that doesn't mean that you can't stun, silence and slow others after 30 minutes + you should buy items that make your late game relevant, like Euls, Scythe or Aghanim's and some survivability ones like Ghost Scepter (highly underrated, one of most cost-efficient items in game) or BKB.

Yeah totally, i might have misworded that :). I'm just saying that of course nuker's damage scales off late game, Earth Spirit just scales off super hard without proper items but yes you're right.

I will be updated this guide again. In the final update I will include:
GIF format videos
Updated Information for all Sections
Adding a Middle Lane Skill Build/Item Build/Tips (I have been playing ES mid a lot lately)
Adding some clips and/or replays from my own Earth Spirit Games

Thanks all

Well written guide, finally an ES guide which acknowledge how op aghanim's scepter is, and how it changes ES role once he gets it. The cool part is he usually gets it when magnetize falls off, which means his late game changes from a "useless meatshield" to a buffed version of batrider.
