Hi all, I've just started casting (a few days ago) and I've got a couple of videos up, I'd be very grateful if anyone watched it through, or just skimmed it, and could give me any advice or criticism. I've only just started so I'm definitely not good yet, but I hope to learn and get better.

Here is my most recent video:

Thanks.

I just skimmed it thru, will see it in detail. But first impressions are that you need a good mic. Because i hear a lot of noise and distortions.

And try making your voice a bit neutral, it is tricky but it will benefit you greatly given the additional number of veiwers you will draw in who might not be comfortable with the British? Accent.

Another general advice would be to veiw the videos of purgegamers, baumi on youtube abd observe the voice and modulation.
Practice will make you perfect my friend.
Best wishes

I love your accent, but I have one issue. I didn't watch a whole video, but my thoughts on your voice are that you are talking like to children. You talk in a very calm manner, which can be a problem for some viewers.

Good luck, anyway! Cheers.

Thanks for the tips guys, I've messed about with some setting and and stuff and hopefully the mic should be less sensitive, meaning less background noise. I can't get a better mic yet, at least not for a while, due to money but I'll keep it in mind for when I'm not broke :)

And thanks for the tip on the calm voice, I hadn't even really noticed that myself, I might try working on that a little.

Here's the new episode if you're interested, thanks again.
