Last night I have carried 4 pub games with Slark (3 times played with Morphling and 1 with Omniknight), but still i don't know what hero could improve my gameplay early. Can anyone help?
EDIT. I like playing very aggressive.
"When game is going full ******, you can only go with it. If you start going against it, if you start going half ******, you´re ****ing done for. When Aloha decides to go middle rubick you let him, and you start buying orb of venom on invoker. That's how dota works" -n0tail
I've never tried to go aggressive with a Slark in a dual lane, but there are a few Heroes that synergize really well with his skills:
Your Pounce makes the enemies unable to run away, right? Then, if your laning partner picks a support that uses a non-targetable stun (Leshrac's Split Earth, Lina's Light Strike Array...) or with skills that needs the enemy to stand still to gain more advantage (Gyrocopter's Homing Missile, Ancient Apparition's Cold Feet etc.) you should get some early kills against squishies, as they're very powerful abilities.
You can also lane with those Heroes that can disable/slow down the enemies for a lot of time: if you don't get the kill, at least you're sure they will be so low on health that they'll return to base. Shadow Shaman, Lion, Dazzle and Venomancer are good examples.
Last (but most important) thing, don't lane with farm-depentent Heroes (aka carries): always look for a support for your lane, even if he isn't between the ones mentioned above you are sure he will go well in mid-late game even without farm (which you should take). Also, look for ranged Heroes for your lane: if you go dual melee you'll most likely get shut down and farm very little.
I've never tried it, but I'm sure a Shadow Demon would work well. If you time your Pounce with Disruption, or a well placed Soul Catcher with your Dark Pact. He also pokes pretty hard, and Slark's mobility can land you an easy kill when they're at about half health.
Slark pretty much works well with anyone with a disable, he doesn't require a stun either, a slow will do just fine.
Imo, Slark works like a charm in lane with Pugna. As Dark Pact and Pounce are both magical, decreptify works like a charm.Let's not forget that you can just trade hits at first with Essence Shift(it basicaly adds +19 damage against heroes) and Pugna can back you up with Nether Blast.
