Has Faceless Void lost his throne?

I don't directly build him for damage when I play him anymore. I get a MoM and Maelstrom just for the procs in the early/mid game, then go for a scepter usually. Build a team that can deal damage for you, all you do as Void is initiate and disable.

I like him a lot more in the offlane than the safelane. A good counterpart "true" carry for the safelane is Juggernaut because his ult works in chrono (for some stupid reason). You can still pick Witch Doctor, Jakiro, Invoker, etc and wreck face, you just can't be that one man team wiper with Refresher you used to be.

Void is very lineup dependant. If the enemy team doesn't have heroes who can dael with him he'll rape, but you can say that about most carry heroes.
