Has anyone else seen these protean greninjas as well? I saw one and they're insane so I managed to get one and ev train it.

I think it will be an uber :P

I totally agree. Greninja has a ton of speed and can change his typing whenever necessary. If I'm not wrong, the type change will ensure that you will get STAB damage for every single damaging move :O

Indeed it does meaning he can stab ice beam and grass knot and has practically no weaknesses if you predict the enemy correctly.

Pokemon with the ghost/dark type combo usually aren't used because of bad base stats (sabeleye) or because they have stupid ways of encountering (spiritomb).

The only other Pokemon with no type weaknesses is elektross (electric type with levitate) but for some reason that's in the never used tier despite its great attack stats and bulk.

Eelektross is probably not used because his speed is ****py, and there are tankier pokemon out there anyway.

Btw has anyone ever heard of the PokeBuilder app? I used it for B&W and they're updating it for X&Y, lets you make any Pokemon with any IVs and EVs and they can be used online! Beats grinding Roggenrolas with ******* Sturdy XD

EDIT: On the subject of Greninja, how varied is his moveset type-wise? If it's along the lines of Nidoking-varied then HOLY S#!T.

He has scald ice beam and grass knot typically which is pretty varied but I haven't noticed anything else that catches my eye.
For instance I wouldn't mind teaching it sludge bomb in case my gengar faints but it can't :P
