the only way for a full carry team to win is if they have some sort of disable or at least burst damage which lets them kill their enemies unhindered by the enemy team's disables.
for example ursa, if he can continually dish out his burst damage, then he would win it for the team. though at times he would often need a support to disable enemies for him.
for example ursa+cm combo. cm encases the enmy in ice, ursa hits.
i've managed to win a full carry team as mid PA. but i played ganker support. i was slowing enemies for ursa and there's also bloodseeker who can kill an enemy ostly on his own.
Eh I'm not defending any roles to be honest. But to be fair, most games I've seen myself which have had a full team of carries lose. Also it just gives Hades an excuse to yell at someone :P
Shh, I win games and you know it xD.
Nah, just kidding, the whole team is important, a carry is nothing without his teammates, the team must sacrifice farm and experience to the carry, also support him.
Every role is important, that's true.
But in pubs, 'magic' happens :P.

lol, teams do win, it is a oiled machine. The support makes sure the carry can farm good... if the carry gets ganked a million times who does he blame? the support for not warding. Every role on a team is good for the team. The guys who love carries are the guys who love stat boards. They get most of the kills because they have Higher damage potential then a tank/ and or support. But Please don't forget who gets you that far. Your team. The term carry is rather old, And personally I feel it should be changed. I have seen a tidehunter who goes 5 and 4 be the true person who Carried the team on their back over the Viper who was 14-1. Its a vicous cycle that I am sure some of you would agree deserves some respect.
Support stops other carries from carrying/ Tank pulls attention and allows the carries free roam/ Carries deal the dps fast enough to change the momentum of a game/ allowing you to push and win. They all coexist, and if they didn't they wouldn't exist.
I wish I could re-define Carry into a PLAYER who can lead his team to victory in the most efficient and positive way possible. Why because that person is the guy holding it together, the guy who puts everyone on their back. But I can't because the term refers to Characters who have High dps and when farmed can steamroll.
