Doom isn't a carry, its very hard for his skillset and base stats to be an effective carry.
That being said, i would classify him as a utility disabler, and build him as such. Doom is an incredible skill in the lategame, just for the 16sec mute and break, refreshable by staying close to the target.
Rush aghs refresher as fast as you can, then after that decide on what your team needs. Pipe, crimson, shivas, AC, vlads, or anything your team needs.
Your starting items and early build looks good, only midas is optional. Good to have, no doubt, but if the game looks like there will be a lot of early teamfights, it might be a better idea to get stuff that lets you fight unless your team can handle the enemy themselves
Ok ill keep that in mind I do try to get the ganking creeps for my laners but theres liek zero comunication so it comes to naught so ive like reverted to just midas farming, im too used to playing league of legend junglers and being more about utitly i guess so shud i swap out the midas for an early sb? and skip the blink for like idk a crit stick or maelstrom?
Hate to tell you this, but Doom does not win the game on his own. He is a massively powerful utility hero (which based on your items, you are playing him as), and he's quite powerful, but bad allies are bad allies and he can't lift them up, like Enigma, Sand King, and Magnus, there's only so much he can do.
I can only suggest a few things to try to bring up your Doom winrate.
1. Don't jungle him. He requires an insane amount of time in jungle before he can contribute as a ganker, and this can kill your lanes. If possible, go solo offlane, the bonus XP means that you can potentially get more gold with bonus devour points and come online with earlier scorched earth. Get stout and ring of protection to make tranquils and get some early big creeps. It can be quite hard to shut down the offlane doom and you can flee into jungle if laning doesn't go well.
2. Armor, prioritize it. Doom has abysmal armor. I've found that I usually get the Ogre Magi in order to boost up my armor through most of midgame. Also, my item build prioritizes getting the armor items asap. Tranquils, Point, Blink, Aghs, Shivas, and then Refresher. You get armor to cast more level deaths in fights and to make sure you're not almost dead when you cast Doom from their initial onslaught. Get the big armor items sooner, not vlads.
3. Don't be greedy. No really. Don't focus on creeps. You're not alch or AM. If Doom is on CD, get some farm, of if you're not like level 8ish yet, get your farm, but otherwise, be active and pressure the enemy. Fighting is much more Doom's style than AFK farming. Devour prints money on the map, not vacuums it, that doesn't mean eat up as much farm as possible. Just look at Doom's winrate with Carry items relative to everyone else except Alch and you'll see why you shouldn't. However, there are times where a Midas is a fine choice, especially if you had good lane and know almost certainly that the game is gonna go late.
You should generally only jungle supports, because picking a hero who you just use to farm a lot in the jungle leaves you with 1 lonely support and very weak lanes.
So if you still really want to jungle then your team is going to be needing an active doom.
Ok so first off when playing him check your team, if your team has no supports, dont pick doom, does your team have 1 support but is it a greedy one like shadow shaman or sand king, dont pick doom.
If your team has a support that isnt too weak in lane and doesnt need much gold then you can pick him, but its still a bit of a gamble because you are making your team play 4vs5 for the beginning of the game.
Play active. Dont sit and farm, and NEVER get midas on jungle doom. You dont want to make your team play 4vs5 for 20 minutes.
Try to gank other lanes, buy active items like blink or arcanes+mek.
Dont get rightclick items, this is a general rule on doom, aside from assault cuirass there are better items to get on doom then damage or HP, like shivas and refresher.
And lastly be flexible when picking him, dont instantly click jungle on the minimap, be prepared to play him as an offlaner or in another difficult lane.
Dont be afraid to have to take responsibility for losing a lane, because hiding in the jungle doesnt mean you had nothing to do with your bottom lane losing.
My radiance timing is 16 min sharp with this build.
As for the weak lanes rebuttle, you are aiming for a 25-30 min game here, so you CAN put a support who benefits from farm in the safe lane to farm his heart out.
For example we ran a safelane lich with a jungle doom, me playing the doom.
The enemy lineup had meepo mid and weaver safelane, suffice to say the game ended in style with an ultra kill delivered by me as we ran them over under their T4.
This build has a lot of loopholes to it, generally you should stick with the common utility doom.
Sounds cool, I do see what you mean by having a stack for such a build, lately I have been noticing a trend though with Dora and league in that if the teammates you get if they are Ham and are willing to take balls to the walls moves you win but if your scared or too passive you tend to lose or is it just me thinking too agro My appeal to doom is the fact that I can dive the enemy back line super hard and get away with it because of that crazy w regen. Are there any good diving builds? Or wud tranquils max w with orb venom with the crit wolf devour be enough?
Edit: I tried out that radiance build it went pretty well for me I still lost but that was mainly because we drafted poorly into a luna Ck comp and for some reason we decided to have a carry slardar who was 1/12 XD **** happens but i felt really powerful with that build Im not even phased about the lost
