I'm leaning towards Evil Geniuses, Invictus, Secret, and LGD as who will come close, if not win. Who are you rooting for or think will win.

I've really been liking Evil Geniuses plays and drafts lately, I think they have a good shot.

How can you say "but seriously" and then include NA'VI? noKappa

I'm an Alliance fangai, so i have to say them! Apart from against HR we looked really strong, but I'll wait till ESL Frankfurt to judge us against the big guns.

Realisticly, i think it'll be between IG, Vici and EG. Out of them i would prefer IG to win it (Ferrari AND Burning? Christ...).

I really like Secret, but there just seems to be something missing... I honestly think if Artour just played position 1 safelane farmers and let s4 get back to doing what he does best (dominate mid, roam and create all kinds of space) they would look stronger. But all this pos1 mid nonsense seems to have thrown their game. On their day they can beat anyone, but their second gear seems to be so much worse than the other Tier 1 teams.

The European scene is really in flux right now.. It feels as though anyone can beat anyone else.. It just depends on the day and the game..

We've seen teams like HR beating Alliance, Alliance beating Secret, and several other upsets.

As for the asian scene, LGD, IG, VG are all strong. Newbee have been pretty bad recently, but we cannot count them out, even without Hao and xiao8.

For NA, I think EG is the obvious top contender.

Miscellaneous thoughts, I'd love to see Na'Vi regain some of their past glory under Artstyle. PR look pretty darn shaky, and Empire is always a gamble (on their day, they can beat the best teams, but they tilt so much). I'm liking NiP's play as a team - their individual skills might not be top tier, but as a team, they perform so well.

Summary:
Eu: Could be anyone. My favorites would be Alliance, Secret, NiP, Na'Vi, Empire.
Asia: IG, Vici Gaming, LGD, Newbee
NA: EG

I agree so much with this. The reason S4 was so good on Alliance and the original Secret enjoyed such success was greatly because of S4's "playmaking" style of play in the mid lane. Put Arteezy in the safe lane on traditional safe laners, put S4 back mid. Of course, my dream would be for Secret to kick Arteezy, put Kuro on carry, bring BigDaddy back for support, but that isn't gonna happen :(

Secret, EG, IG in no particular order.

Alliance has really been looking good. I think they needed some time to adjust, but now they've sort of found themselves. I don't think they're going to be on that level by the time TI5 rolls around, but I won't count them out for a high finish either.

Na'vi can definitely improve considering their recent addition. I really think they just didn't have players who matched up with Dendi and Xboct in terms of skill, and that's why they have struggled so much lately.

There are just too many European teams out there that can come out of nowhere and win a tournament. It's so hard to tell because there's so much happening in EU that makes it completely unpredictable.

I agree about Secret, though. S4 is the best player on the team, and needs to be able to do what he does best. Arteezy is really not that great. He's good at finding farm and stuff I guess, but he needs to stick to the safelane. Let S4 and Zai be the playmakers that they are, and it should be GG. They are the most talented and skilled team out there, in my opinion.

Agreed with al that has been said about secret they are the team to beat if they let S4 back into the mid lane. I would also like to see NA'VI play well again and for the first time in like a half a year they have a team that can really play well again. P.S u might of guessed NA'VI fan
