Against the advice of commenters on my last thread (pun...Unintentional) I decided to play my next calibrating..."match". It wasn't actually a match.

I'm not even going to link this match from dotabuff because it literally lasted 4 minutes. I had picked Mirana and went to offlane (I would have roamed but...Vengeful spirit demanded she take that spot). Got stuck with an enemy Drow ranger (am I sure I went ranked?) and a Warlock supporting her.

This is how the match went for 3 minutes:
Last hit as much as possible -> Harass -> leap away when lv 3 gank attempt by ogre.

Hit the 3:30 mark, and I had harassed warlock so much he was trying to tp to fountain. He had hidden in a spot that I didn't know about 17 games ago.

I don't think he realised that our bloodseeker existed.

In short: Arrow thrown -> Arrow hit -> Warlock literally says: "Gg, Mirana too pro." and disconnects".

Then the rest of his team followed that example.

Take it as a compliment. :)

All in all, sounds like they had a pretty dumb team. Try again, and see if you get a more fun match.
