I have a question about rushing item

Me(WR)and my friend(WK)just play in pub match,My friend decide to buy Assault Cuirass at early game.He need that item bcz he is worry about Jugg's ulti,but i thing rush that big item isn't a good idea,bcz it too fast to buy that item and at early game he still can die in other heroes skills.So i want to know everyone option.

For wk it is fine since he doesn't actually have any specific item he needs to make him stronger,unlike juggernaut with MoM, or phantom lancer with diffusal for example.

Generally it is a good idea to go for more cost effective items first then build that up into big items, but i don't see why we shouldn't go for bigger items if we can and we think we need them.

Granted i feel that wk has some other better items he could have bought, like a skull basher for one, but if he thinks that jug ulti is a real threat, then go ahead and build whatever you think can counter that

Rushing items can work depending on the item, and depending on the Hero. Basically whatever plays to their strengths.

Rushing AC on WK? Pretty good.

Rushing AC on Doom? Also pretty good.

Rushing AC on Terrorblade? Lol ur retrded.

Conversely

Rushing Manta on WK? Do you really have the mana.

Rushing Manta on Doom? Eh... not really.

Rushing Manta on TB? Hells to the yes.

Versatile heroes work better with many items. It's based on who you are, who you are with, and who you are against. It's like getting a Vlads against DP - the +armour to the whole team mitigates a lot of the damage from Exorcism.

Thx for reply, u 2.A reason that i ask bcz i don't make a big item in my 1-3 item,n he's mostly go snowball rather than afk farming that make he weak(even have ulti)before he's finish AC(maybe a reason that he dead 2 time),but it's ok that he can finish before 30 min(if i'm not wrong).

I need to ask something about bkb,does bkb count as cost-effective or luxary item?

he's(razor) go to make bkb after power treads n refuse to make early core item(mek,drum etc) that make he weak n die bit much at early game(but it's fun to see enemy panic with my chain frost).

Some games you need bkb or you aren't even going to live to deal damage, you just die. I list it as situational, but reality is you will need a bkb in 95% of games. It is neither luxury or cost effective, but is definitely a core in 95% of games.

When to get it though, different players have different views. Some, like your friend, likes to rush it after boots, just to get it as soon as possible to get a advantage as sson as you can just to live through fights. Others like to put it for later when they have damage since they feel that with no damage it doesn't make a difference if you live.

In my opinion, you should get a bkb when you think the enemy can overwhelm you in fights. Say you are fighting a zeus or a leshrac. I would get a bkb as soon as i can, even before any damage as they can easily kill you if you build damage. If i'm facing a team with serious lockdown, i would also rush bkb. If i'm fighting a team with not too much lockdown, and i feel i can live through fights for the moment while dealing damage, i would get sone damage items first and build my bkb later when i think i need it.

If you're already aware of that Juggy threat, Better pick an anti at the first place such as Omniknight's Guardian Angel or either get alternative items if you're having a hard time aiming what you want like Wraith King was aiming for Assault Cuirass to reduce the potential threat of Juggy but if you bought Shadow Blade he can evade the Omnislash and he can snowball better IMO.
