Hi,
so well you know (no you don't why am I even starting like that?) I have been really trying to increase my mmr.
And I did! I climbed from 2300 to 2700.
And now I droped back to 2380...
I basically always play ranked just because I feel like knowing how I am doing.
I feel like I am just not improving. I do stuff and I win.
And suddenly I keep loosing.
The worst thing about this is that now I feel like I am a burden for my team and this takes all of the fun. I don't know what to do. I am frustrated.Frustrate yourself!
Yes...that's not what I am looking for but I just felt like I need to talk about this or I will seriously loose all fun of playing dota.
I greatly appreciate all of your comments and any attempts to help
Dear michimatsch, you feel like you are not improving: but besides mmr flutuation, do you have a way of confirming this? Because truth is, we win, then we lose, and the cycle goes on. You might even had just some bad luck games that made your mmr decrease, we all know these, the lags, the russian teamplayers :) and this has nothing to do with improving. You feel like a burden for your team probably because that's the reflection of how you think of yourself because of mmr - and that's just a number! Don't measure yourself by numbers!
Anyway, here is this guide I read only today, and which I think can help you, regardless of mmr climbing:
Tomorrow there's a dota fire in-house, why don't you start by there to have fun and relax? You will see you're not the burden you think you are, and if there are things you could improve, people will gladly explained them to you rather than making you feel down.

I cannot say with words how relieving your comment is.
I sometimes forget that I shouldn't blame myself all the time. Tbh I keep blaming myself conistently and because of that I tend to be depressed about my life.
But Luckily there are persons out there who are sensible enough and show me a way to live on happily.
Without discriminating against men why are almost only girls sensible enough to help me out of sadness? Well...I should really stop being so emotional in here....everyone must think that I am a complete weirdo^^
Thank you masaaki,
the blog really helped me understand what was going on with me.
I just noticed I used was so this must mean I am good now.
got to say maybe you should do a casual queue once in a while. and then play more casual (screw around more) I would recommend to do it in at least a 2-3 man premade (full can be used too). and well have some fun instead about stress about mistakes etc
