Proof that a lame team makes life hell

I feel you. When I get on my smurf account these days, just to relax and enjoy a few games, I end up stressing over the matches more than I do on my main. Simply because these newer players don't realize that taking towers is the key. All they seem to be able to think about is team fights. Because you can only win games by killing the other heroes. Towers are handled by creeps.

Well the clok decided to go support, so i thought more than dual support would be a waste.
Hence i went semi-carry.

Our main problem early on was that we had no damage. I was the only one doing some damage still i opted for a necro to counter od (he bought lothars god knows why) and riki.

Then when i felt my team wasnt doing any real damage a hex wouldnt make much of a difference if we couldnt bring the guy down. Therefore i opted for dagon 5 as when paired with my debuff it did 800 magic and 400 pure damage.

Even being outnumbered i lead my team to victory in these clashes.
The ultimate orb was for the hex only.

Our only problem was that even with us winning teamfights as you would have seen in the replay my teammates spent their idle time in the fountain. They DID NOT EVEN TRY TO BRING DOWN THE TOWERS.
I repeatedly instructed them to go and finish it seeing as we did not have a late gamer.

And that clok went for mom basher even though i warned them to dont go for mom as they had hard right clickers. With that money he could have gotten a heart blademail which would be devastating for the enemy's fragile carries.
Also if he instead make a hex or the necrobook i would have made the other one.

I rest my case. They partied in our fountain. :(

You were outnumbered, 4 to 3, with no mass disables, Power Cogs being the closest thing you have while the enemy had Magnus and Naga Siren.

One Visage is not enough to justify going semi carry with Shadow Demon, especially when everyone else is a carry anyway.

Your item choices are definitely not the best you could have done. With enough gold to get those, you could have probably got a scythe and an orchid instead of the dagon 5 and the ultimate orb, which would overall contribute to your team more, especially if your remaining team made some real DPS instead of MoM Basher on Clockwerk.
