I just want a lock-onto character toggle. Then Dota2 is perfect.
Honestly, you need to be able to look around the map. If the camera is centered on you, you can't see what's up the lane, or behind you, or across the map. It hurts you, it doesn't help you.
I always loved Magna, even though he was kind of... ****ty. Like all initiators did his job better. All carries did their job better. Magna just didn't fit in, but he was fun as hell to play!
Before the remake, his main niche was his ability to solo mid despite being a Blink initiator, thanks to Shockwave and high base stats (including 315 ms). I'm not sure what's become of him now as I left for HoN around the time he was remade into more of a support/ganker (Skewer/Empower changes) and never got around to trying him.
Anyways on topic, Lord of Avernus (Abaddon) is my #1 anticipated hero. I'm a big fan of semi-carry/solo mid LoA in pubs.
As it stands, Clinkz is a better anti-jungler than Nerubian. As well, there aren't enough bans to stop a push setup.
And as for ES, he can really only be played as a lane-support. His mana pool will simply not support anything if you rush a dagger on him, he needs mana boots, THEN blink. But that's quite a bit of farm, and that means that someone else on your team isn't getting the farm they need. ES' only way to get a quick mana boots and blink would be through early kills.
ES solution is pretty straight forward, rush dagger and a couple of mantles of int - I've seen it done before in Dota1. mana boots + dagger is around 4k (inc things like tango's etc) - a good farmer at mid could get that in the first 15 mins (easily) FB and near perfect creeps you are looking at 10 minutes.. at this point side lanes are still at level 5-8 (8 with some exp from kills)..
I agree Clinx would be good - a hard counter also with midas, can take 2 of chen's or enchants creeps immediately then hammer them down with searing.. only problem is - he's ****in clinx haha :) And is good for nothing really.. Gondar could do the same job from mid a build
Centaur Warchief, Medusa, Dirge, Pit Lord, Ezalor - all Turtle pushes very well, and BB, but not as well - Don't think they will change the Meta individually, because they will just be added to the 'auto-ban' list, which would in turn add another 'pusher' to the 'no longer auto-ban list'. but once 2-3 of them have been released changes will be made.
The only way to counter the current push strat, is to gamble with who is farming. Such as ES with a baby sitter mid. (baby sitter controls runes) Rush dagger with ES would greatly reduce the opposings team's ability to push. OR just ban pushers from the start.
Nerubian Assasin (or whatever he's called now) would be one of the best, he can burn mana, and gank the junglers with good warding on his own. Chen would be dog meat for NA if he gets a dagon quickly.

I only see this request from lol players who have no map awareness.

Also one of the most useless heroes given the current meta.
If that's true... Then I hope that Troll Warlord gets added.
