Of all the dota games that I've played, the ones that are really close to my heart are the games in which my team lost. They were intense games, very close, with me playing really well, but end up losing, but still, those are the games that stay in my memory.
It just feels weird that my best games are games that I lost.
It was an intense game, which came down to a base race with all 5 people of the Dire in our base with the rest of our team dead. I chose to run to the bot lane where our creeps were at their tier 3. I took down the tier 3, took down both the tier 4s. However, I made a bad decision at that point. I probably should have backed to base since the [{Wraith King]] and Keeper of the Light had TP'd back to base, but I wasn't aware of that (I prolly should have kept an eye on who was still in our base, but in the heat of the game, I did not). Nonetheless, I got Mana Leak'd by the KotL and chain bashed by the Wraith King and went down. Their Medusa was able to 1v3 the rest of my team and won.
Is it odd that my most liked games are games that I lost, or have you guys felt the same too?
Yes... this is odd. How much do you drink after you lose a game? I suggest ending this practice and bash your computer on the ground to recover from your apparent lack of standard human emotion.
I don't think it's that odd. My. Favourite games are the ones where I've played a great support, created space, had an impact on team fights, warded well, and my carries can't quite win. Personally, I treat those games like victories.
I did all I could, and played well. Might have lost, but I learnt and got better.
I definitely think that while my favourite games are won baseraces (tony-wisp <3) the games where it could've ended in any way but we eventually lost are often extremely hectic and epic. So nothing odd in that :D
I think that my fav game was one where I played really bad as veno (first game as him might I add) and at the end of the game I was able to make a great play where the enermy team where roshan ing and I just walked in and ulti de all over them. They then killed me but by then they where on low health and my team finished them off. We then managed to five man push and win the game. It felt so good because I had been feading all game to turn it round and still win in a 90 min game one of my fav moments.

While I don't necessarily enjoy losing, I must admit that many of my losses as of recent have been enjoyable ones due to the harsh intensity of the matches. I feel that playing against strong players and losing fair and square is not only more enjoyable but also more educational than flat out stomping the enemy team. It can feel good to absolutely destroy the opposition from time to time, but the fastest way to get better at dota quickly is by playing with and against players that are either equally or more experienced than you are.
The best games are often really close. So yeah, im fond of some losses. Then again, some make you furious (the fountain had 290 hp, with me ( Tidehunter) and Weaver hitting it, when our Sniper went fountain diving and we got wiped and lost!! Raging).
Disregard my earlier statement. This is not odd. I just had a game that went for an hour and 9 minutes which I lost, but really enjoyed. We had a Techies on our team so it was hard for them to end, but they got megas eventually.
