Is it really a suicide move if you dont build Midas on a QE Invoker?

I rarely get Midas on Invoker, but my winrate is still pretty decent. IMO Midas is only good if you're ahead and want to secure your lead or if you're behind, but know you can stall untill late and catch up faster with the midas.
If you know the game's gonna be in a stalemate aka farming game for a long time you should definetly go midas since your farming ability while not being bad is not on par with flash farming heroes like AM or Spectre.

Good point sir. In my case, I rarely win when I go with HoM (even under 7 mins) I dont know why but I think im not using it correctly as i slack off on using it :(
