Least Played and Bot Matches are both good places to learn, especially if you're in a 5-stack that can help you learn while making it fun <}3
Meh, I guess Im the only one who can't stand a game with bots, I mean I (think) would only go with bots to try new items or combos like Earth Spirit, meepo, invoker, y'know, stuff like that
The best advice I could give you although, is to watch noob friendly youtubers, like purge, and some dotacinema content, and after move out to overthesummit, which are pro games (tier 1 and 2 teams).
You learn more with others that know stuff than by yourself. Just the fact that you came here for requesting help means that you are willing to learn, that's why I recommend you that:)

Watching stuff on YouTube (and reading all the brilliant n00b friendly guides on here) has helped me a lot. But you really start learning watching pro-games. With the commentary... Without it sometimes you have no idea what's going on. Just learning how to adapt, slightly different builds, different ways to use a hero, combination hero's. There's a lot to learn, and watching the best just gives some pointers.
Beyond The Summit (I think CaptDaft meant...) is great. I'd also, strongly, reccoment keeping an eye on StarLadder this weekend. It is the season finals so, hopefully, we will see some great games. All star game tomorrow as well... Not sure what's going on with that, but if i get to see some random teams it should be fun.
