Death Prophet- The push-nuke carry tank

Vanguard delays your bloodstone, u can buy pointbooster and vitality booster with same amount of money and they give more hp. If u build vanguard with the first 2000g u may have good ehp but still no manaregen. I've tried vanguard but then I'm always oom. With bloodstone rush build I don't have problems with mana or surviving in fights. The damage block for ranged heroes is also worthless

If you want the early tankiness Rod of Atos is better in every way than vanguard.

I hope you're joking. DP can be one of the best tank heroes in the game, vanguard is a MUST! This is the exact skill/item build I do on almost all my DP games. I do usually go sheep stick after vanguard to solve mana regen over the bloodstone, and just to give more in a teamfight if needed.

If your team is already doing good in fights go for the bloodstone to become ultimate tank.
