HELP COUNTERING WRAITH KING

Guys so this is it a guy challenged me he plays with wraith king, we played a one on one game he chose wk and i riki, i bought power treads on agility and diffusal blade and tried making sange and yasha but didnt complete, he totally owned me, 12-3 kills, he chose as items power treads on strength and armlet and monkey king bar, so i told him to play another game next week and i need your help, how can i own him on a one on one game? Which hero do u recommend and what items should i buy one after the other? Thanks for ur help

u can go Viper and harras the *%$# outta him, Razor and steal all his dmg, outworld devourer to completely obliterate him... pretty much any decent mid hero will do.

also Sand King, Lion, Dragon Knight, Invoker, Timbersaw, Axe, necrolyte, the options are rlly endless.

Ursa, Anti-Mage, Phantom Lancer, Lifestealer, Chaos Knight, Faceless Void, Phantom Assassin, Terrorblade, Legion Commander. These are the heroes to counter him 1 on 1 game.

Wraith King have a fair it of weakness. To start with, he is weak early game, especially before getting his ulti. Getting an orb-walker ( Drow Ranger and Viper and Outworld Devourer) is good against him, since you can force him back.

Furthermore, Wraith King have low movement speed and his only stun in his Wraithfire Blast. So, you can easily move yourself out of range by using a Force Staff. Since the easiest way to counter him is by using mid heroes, it is natural for you to get Force Staff anyway.

If you don't want to use ranged heroes, I would suggest using a hero that can make illusions like Naga Siren and Phantom Lancer. Their mana drain from using Diffusal Blade can easily drain his mana, making him unable to use his Reincarnation.

But, still, I would favor ranged orb-walkers over melee heroes against Wraith King. Personally, I think Drow Ranger is the best since she can slow and deal loads of damage against heroes as well as stop them from running / coming towards you.

Just for the hell of it; Lifestealer
If you get an armlett you can just eat your way through his health, so what if he comes back? just eat his health. I'd also suggest Huskar because his atk speed is ridiculous when on low health, his Burning Spear will hurt and his ult will just hurt even more.

as Invoker just use orchid to silence and kill him, or EMP to wipe his mana so he can't ult.

Unless your restricted to one lane and your also semi competent at micro you could grab Meepo. You could easily lane against him (and stay back so he can't easily kill you) with your main Meepo and then send your clones to the other lanes to gain experience and gold. Even If you still can't take him in a fight (team fight now with all the clones?) you can split push the lanes quite easily as well as using poof to escape wen he comes to stop you.
