They hid easter eggs in some old hero releases as well, so it might be true.

well ok ....but seeing "pitlords face" in the shadings of a hero-artstyle...thats more like wish-thinking ^^

I thought they will release Techies during this event, cause it contain some explosives :<

Ok, so I was just looking at this on my phone and I zoomed in to Phoenix's chest. I can clearly see the face of evil and doom (and it just scared me how clear the face was), but it looked a lot like Lion's face. I dunno if they're supposed to be similar, but that's just what I saw. Also I didn't see anything on Terrorblade but will keep looking.

I agree that the face on Phoenix's chest is not necessarily Pit Lord's Face, Terrorblade's belt, in my opinion, quite clearly has the pitlord's perfectly circular face. As far as we know, the face on Phoenix could be Oracle, considering the phoenix is "light and bright and happy wow" and Terrorblade could be the one hinting to pit lord because "Dark and ooh scary". Who knows, really.

It didn't look like pit lord it looked like a reflection of soul keeper tbh, not bestial enough to be pitlord IMO, considering pit lord will still probably resemble something akin to The big demons from wow, unless he's bipedal now with more of a human like face. The reflection could be terrorblade a reflection representing the yin and yang the new bloom sorta represents, pheonix symbolizing death and rebirth, or reincarnation in a pure form while terrorblade is a corrupted mockery of purity, with demonic energies warping his soul and physical form as a result.
Pit lord from my perspective is what Mal Ganis from Warcraft? The big 4 legged demon that Grom Hellscream killed to cure the orcs of their demonic bloodlust. I'm way too nerdy for my own good, but hell it could be an Easter egg, but I'm indifferent, it would be nice to have that game changing ulti in dota 2 though. If I remember, Nymphora had it in HoN.

Yea mannoroth, the demon they put in one of the heroics for dragon soul I believe, so not perfectly correct but someone got it
