Lore
Thrown into the pile with the rest. The stench rising through the bodies underneath him. More bodies, this time on top. He was just a simple man, but dabbled in some dangerous magics. Even more bodies dumped onto the pile, blocking out the sun. The magics this man had learned while he was alive were dark and evil magic. The stench of death was now unbearable as the next pile was loaded on. Necromancy. The Necromancer felt all of these bodies weighing down on him. A heavy blanket to protect him from the cold world that had betrayed him. But now it was time to get out of bed. The Necromancer felt all of the entropy around him. "Useless energy" they called it. He alone knew how to shape entropy into magical forms. An even greater stench as more lifeless corpses were thrown into the pit. This amount of entropy was enough to make his eyes flutter but nothing more. Even more sacks of entropic energy thrown into the pit. Ricril, yes that was his name, now awoke alone in a large pit with an extraordinary stench around him. He had done it. He had successfully escaped death through the sacrifice of humans already devoid of all energies save entropy. Climbing up the pit he saw nothing but death. Death and disease. And a lone man in a field with a scythe. "Ah a simple farmer for me to steal entropy from." But as Ricril's eyes adjusted to the brutal and unforgiving light of the sun, he noticed something strange about the man. This was no simple farmer, this man's face looked familiar. This man's face reminded Ricril of something. Something of death. Death and disease. This was the man who came into his village. This was the man who brought the plague. This was the man who slaughtered his friends and family. This was the man who mercilessly killed him. This was the man who harbored entropic energy about him. This was the man known as the Necrophos. "Well I, I am the one known as the Necromancer; master of all things dead and dying. This is the man who shall aide the Necrophos, so that he shall bring me more entropic energy." And with that the Necromancer's mind had gone corrupt with greed and power. He had lost all mercy and remorse. All he wanted was more power. More entropy.

Skills

Q
Entropic Energy (Single Target) (Magical)
The Necromancer drains life from the target, transforming it into entropic energy. Upon doing so, the Necromancer gains an Entropy Charge.
Damage: 100
Max Charges: 4/6/8/10
Time Until Charges Disappear: 10/20/30/Infinite
Cast range: 600
Cooldown: 2
Mana cost: 50

W
Equal Exchange (Single Target) (Magical)
Sensing an imbalance in power, the Necromancer shifts energies. This skill can either heal allies or damage enemies.
Damage/Heal: 30x amount of Entropic Charges
Cast range: 450
Cooldown: 15/14/13/12
Mana cost: 150/140/130/120
*Both damage and heal are blocked by magic immunity and lowered by magic resistance.

E
Entropic Aura (Passive) (Pure)
The blasts of entropy are overwhelming to even the mightiest of foes. Once per interval, entropy damages a random target.
Damage: 10x amount of Entropic Charges
Interval: 3/2.5/2/1.5
Radius: 300

R
Necromancy (Active) (Pure)
The Necromancer transforms the Entropic Charges into life energy, shortening the respawn time of an ally. When that ally respawns, the Entropic Charges enter into whatever unit killed that ally.
Respawn Time Shortened: 3x amount of Entropic Charges
Damage: 50x amount of Entropic Charges
Cooldown: 180/160/140
Mana cost: 200/300/400
*All Entropic Charges are used upon casting Necromancy

Hey guys! Thanks for reading another one of my hero idea thread thingies. Tell me what you think about the hero, whether he is incredibly overpowered, whether he is incredibly underpowered, or whether he is incredibly just right. Again thanks for reading!

Neat idea, but I'm going to have to say the obvious thing here.

Name change might be necessary, very close to Necrophos, which essentially is a necromancer. In fact, I think that's exactly what it is.

Are the Entropic Energy charges consumed when a skill is used, or is it only used when Necromancy is cast? If you level Entropic Aura in lane, you will constantly damage the lane creeps and push the lane, right?

BabySauce: I realize that, but I was going to incorporate Necrophos into his lore. (Which btw will be up soon)

porygon361: For your first question no using skills does not use charges (excluding Necromancy). And for your second question, yes it would.

Ok, then I say that its balanced enough.
Also, your lore makes Ricril the Necrolyte's Servant of Decay, and my hero idea, Gazaa, is the Servant of Disease :P

Oh really? Lol not sure if I should be sorry that they are so similar or happy that if they both get added they would be allies. :P

I thought Necrophos was a Plague Mage, so don't worry, Necromancer is not taken...

Nice idea with MOAR CHARGE BASED SYSTEMS (I love them)

This time Entropy - not sure how the concept of isolation turning into chaos and randomness is taken up by a Necromancer, but meh.

Unique idea - 2 second cooldown lifedrain - 500 Avengeance damage

I like :3

[EDIT]: One crucial thing - what are the lengths for all of his skills! That is an important factor...

I agree, I love charge based systems as well :P. Also, with the concept of entropy; the way entropy was meant in this instance is the useless energy (sound familiar :P) left over from a thermodynamic reaction (like death).

Is this part sarcastic orrrr... Because once you said that it made me think how much damage the charge skill alone can deal. (~75 damage per cast with 2 second cooldown)

What do mean are the lengths for all of his skills? Like the range, duration, or something I'm just not getting? :3
Also thanks for commenting! :D
(In completely irrelevant news I'm working on the next hero instead of studying for my midterms yaaaaaaaay)

The 2 second cool-down is fine - Sky-Wrath Mage has a 2 second cool-down nuke that can do 300 damage when if he is level 25, even with no items! I wasn't being sarcastic - it's cool.

I should have also said I meant the cast range of his spells, and aura ranges. This is especially important for judging Entropy Aura

Now that i think about it, is his ultimate permanent? Does the buff ever run out naturally? Or can you put it on multiple teammates over time, or stack it... erkkk, that would be OP
