Placing down Rock Remnants is not considered micro. Why did you call him a "micro machine?" Micro involves CONTROLLING multiple units in the most efficient way possible, not just pushing rocks around. YYYYYYYYY?
Yeah, it's more of a skillshot ability like Pudge's Meat Hook, but shooting rocks instead. It's still some kind of "micromanagement" since you manage multiple entities, but it isn't nearly as challenging as with Chen or Visage and doesn't explain the concept that well.
This is surely the best Earth Spirit guide on DotaFire, but I would change some of the situational/luxury items: the Radiance is useless unless you get it by ~25 minutes (which is impossible as your core items cost a lot); ES doesn't benefit from it either as it's more of a farming item and he usually cotributes in teamfights with magical damage, not physical. Also, I would add the Scythe of Vyse to the luxury items (the Hex ability is just too good) and maybe a Linken's Sphere, which is probably better than the Bloodstone.
Lastly, when you mid, you might want to start with three Iron Branches plus a Tango and get a fast Bottle.

glenn, i think he can support, in much the same way sandking or any walking ulti hero can. He has a pretty reliable stun as well as a decent combo and some great team fight abilities, i dont see why it would be a problem to play him as a support like undying or sandking.

Since you are the first Earth Spirit guide maker on this site, perhaps you can answer a lingering question that's been on my mind since I've seen Earth Spirit in Dota 2. I've never played Dota 1 and I don't really know much about this hero, so here it goes.
Can Earth Spirit be played as a semi-support, or even a hard support?

I see, thanks :D
Decent guide, but I would add some substitutions to the Mekansm such as Drum of Endurance or Force Staff.
Yeah i find drum really useful. Forcestaff is a lot more situational though.
